Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h01m05s

Mass collision at 1st turn :

P and M. Mercaldo were on the 1st gridline, Marco on the apex tried to overtake Piero. Piero slightly spun and there was a side by side contact.
No clear fault from Piero or Marco ...but once again let\\\'s try to be more cautious at the start and the first turns.

At the end of the grid, Francesco was still pushing the throttle even when he could see the big crash in front of his car. Then he made a bad restart as there was Piero\\\'s car just in front of him (see at 1min10sec).

I will say Racing Incident because things were happening very quickly.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h05m38s

Marginal side by side contact between Piero and Bastian.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h13m30s

Evil Clive had to reset but he didn\'t fully stop and go at the pits...

Server replay time: 0h19m30s

Greg had an engine problem, he could continue to drive until the pits where he stopped and then did a reset.
This is not correct: first we have to reset and then a stop and go.

Small penalty because it didn\'t give him a real advantage.

Server replay time: 0h32m48s

very slightly contact between Doni and Bastian cars.

Doni takes a defensive line just before Bastian makes a move, so it\'s no blocking.
Then I don\'t understand why Bastian tried to overtake Doni on the right as there were plenty of space on the left.

sorry again guys for the chaos(second time) at the start, I am very sorry that my accident has affected the performance of other drivers. After a good qualifying, I thought only to be prudent and to maintain the position.Piero is not a good start ,I continually looking to the left , I found myself  at T1 first position , with the best path, I made the curve being inside, but  when I was accelerating , nearly save, I flew away   triggering the usual chaos. I can not say what happened to my brother, I think he's come long at T1,  and he did not have full control, possibly due to a slight touched on grass ,and surely a big wrap (min 1.00.00) because his car jumps to the right, and  he touched me.

Can't watch it live since it went from Eurosport;   will have to watch it tomorrow on ITV4 highlights show...   Just hope I don't see the result anywhere in the meantime  Smiley

Not a very nice race for me.

At the start, when i saw a struggeling car i hit the brakes coming to a complete stop (although I hit a car with slow speed) and got bumped from behind even a bit harder.

I didn't watch the rpy yet but later in the race one of the meracaldos hit me out in the first corner, later Doni crossed my line when overtaking so we had wheel contact and later pushed me out as well.

Thats my feeling before watching the rpy - didn't have time yet. maybe i correct my Pov later in the evening.

Sorry mate, that was me.  Sad  I, in turn, got hit from behind a second later.

To be fair to many peoples view Pieros' car would have jumped - he either put a wheel on the grass or simply stood on the throttle too quick for cold tires when exiting T1, which did result in him slewing to the right slightly before regaining control.
I just got lucky this time as I was close enough to both see it happening and avoid it, and as luck would have it was even between them in effect when they hit.

A shame, I did some work on last seasons Ferrari setup which clearly worked as I appeared to have the fastest car in the race - I'd have rather worked for the win though. Sad

Congrats go to Andreas and Ronnie for filling the podium and all of the survivors  Smiley

I'm not trying excuses, at Rouen I confirmed my mistake and I apologized and I have not blamed anyone, I just expressed my point of view, I do not understand what Logan has (sorry for the terms but it is he who insists)to break my balls...................lets you work the moderators  and  think of your ........ business. If u had not understood Piero it s my brother , you want to say that I want to blame him?Huh?

I'm not trying excuses, at Rouen I confirmed my mistake...

You confirmed ONE of your mistakes (the being in neutral for eight full seconds). The moderators have determined that it was not worthy of a penalty. I even agreed to that, though I think the dispensation should have a limit (maybe two or three seconds, tops). Anyone who does not realize that their car is not moving for that amount of time HAS to bear some responsibility for the carnage that followed.

It's what happened after that that I have a serious problem with. Though the rules specifically state that any car rejoining the track MUST stay out of the way of other traffic, you didn't. You drove straight into the middle of the track, SLOWLY, and Bastian tried his best to get around you (as is his right). There was contact which I believe was mostly your fault, not Bastian's.

Quote
...I just expressed my point of view...

And that's EXACTLY what I'm doing here. DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT?

Quote
...I do not understand what Logan has (sorry for the terms but it is he who insists)to break my balls...

ROFL. Hope you never deal with me in real life.  Grin

Quote
................lets you work the moderators  and  think of your ........ business...

The moderators WANT to hear different people's views. If you have a problem with the way things work here, find a different league.

Quote
...If u had not understood Piero it s my brother , you want to say that I want to blame him?Huh?

Piero was blameless in both situations. He was well clear of the shenanigans at Rouen, and may well have recovered his half-spin at Silverstone IF YOU HADN'T DECIDED THAT YOU DESERVE 80% OF THE TRACK, and anyone who dares to use more than the 20% left over, well, "his car jumped to the right AND HE HIT ME BOOOOOO HOOOOOO".

For better explain what I meant , these are two consecutive frames of my replay.I repeat that I did not want to make excuses,I just made assumptions based on my replay.

Without stepping on the moderators' toes, IMO Marco could/should have given more room on the outside. But Piero also slightly loses control on the outside, corrrecting and then touching with Marco.

To me this is no simple black/white incident, but to me both have some responsibility here...Marco arguably more than Piero, since he is the one that tries to make a move...
