oops sorry Chris  Embarrassed getting me Sutols mixed up  Grin

wonder if my early aero damage also affected the fuel economy? Not sure if Kunos model it that accurately, but maybe explain why I was so short on fuel at the end  Undecided

I always use the mini app as a double check as far as fuel is concerned

it could of been iof you was doing faster lap times you would of used more fuel..

when i did my practice i was doing about 7.5L per lap but in the race it was 6.9 because i was slowing down and being cleaner

Dave's importer chucked out an error and I see the LAP CHART has me finishing in front of MJ even though he did more laps!

Thanks for this combo Chris, was looking forward to racing these cars for the first time. Unfortunately had to start AC before attaching my wheel, to be able to be in time for the booking procedure and thus was running without the Logitec Profiler... Big mistake, the wheel was very sensitive like it was on 200 degrees radius or something. The race was al about surviving for me.

So i hope we will see these cars again in near future as they are very good fun.

P.s. I was running 2/6 wings. Is that anywhere near the ballpark? I also did praccy with 3/8, but not realy faster in laptimes.

Had a solid second right up to lap twelve courtesy of others mistakes, loved the car it behaved like a dream, came in for a tyre change and fuel, like an idiot pressed repair car and sat there for well over a minute. Came out of the pits behind MJ in seventh place and finished in sixth after he pulled off track out of fuel. Looking forward to another with this car.

Not a good race for me. Was way to late on the brakes at the start, for the chicane (apparently not the only one  Roll Eyes) Let Chris go by as I felt I blocked his entry into the chicane. Then my brain refused to let me work the shifter properly  wacko and so Robert got by too. A little later I had a go at Ed before the chicane, but again no control and a messy move, so let Ed back passed, as it didn't feel right. Then suddenly the car started to misbehave, throwing the car in a spin at every right turn  Shocked  It was on my in-lap so I decided to go for mediums as it felt like the softs caused this weird behaviour. the pit-stop worked as a charm and I had the fuel calculation spot on. Now on mediums it was better driving, but 2 to 3 secs slower a lap. So there was no more gain in places and could only get P5 in the end. Would not mind another go with this car, but I do feel like the behaviour is a bit erratic and I wasn't throwing the car around like a nutter.

So that was the reason why it felt too easy. That was my favorite spot to overtake so I knew, if I let you have first chicane, still have chance to fight back.

My race ... seems that we were all too late on brakes for T1.
I was behind Chris and plan was to go in T1 right behind him so when he braked and couldn`t make T1 for whatever reason, it affected me also. But, before I was able to take escape road, I was rear ended.

Not big hit but enough to have "weird" damage. It didn't affect top speed and car behavior, well at first, but rear tires went down too fast so exiting Parabolica was a nightmare after 3 or 4 laps. It was even worse after I "confirmed" my damage lap before pit stop so, initial pit stop plan without changing tires was no go.
Offline in same conditions, I was able to go 7 laps before Gussa`s app showed 99% grip and now I have 95% in 6th lap.

After pit it was boring as noone was close enough but, that "weird" damage strike again in very last lap in Parabolica.
Luckily didn't hit anything and had enough advantage to keep my place without sweat to the finish line.

btw @ Mark J - boxbox http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/boxbox.7652/ is another nice app for cases like yours. It stay`s in background until lap that you need to pit and than gives you warning and amount of fuel needed to finish the race ...
