Hi Tony just for clarification for me are we using just the M1 Procar or also the M1 GR4 and M1 GTO?
Anyone you like Roger. Next race in this series will see handicapping (of sorts). |

I was allowed some play time last night so thought I would try the Procars around Zolder as they are a bit modern and unfamiliar to me. Tony was kind enough to post a target lap time, so I thought I would try and get myself up to that sort of speed. Well....... after about 10 laps of messing up and running wide at various corners, getting the braking point too early or ( usually) far too late I completed a flying lap and posted a 1:48 lap??!! Apparently 8 secs off the pace that Tony has set?? I was definitely not maxed out and there was time to be gained, but 8 seconds??!!! After several more laps I squeezed down to 1:46, but I was riding kerbs and risking everything on the brakes??!! How the heck was Tony getting down to 1:40?  Then I had a brainwave and made one critical change. the next flying lap I clocked a 1:39!!!  I loaded the correct version of Zolder without the tight chicanes!! |

What cut If you read Evils post CLOSELY  you will see he was on the wrong version of Zolder |

Roger, It sounds like you made the same error that I did and jumped on the "Zolder" circuit that is in the default GTL circuits folder right at the bottom of the list. You need to download the circuit in the link in the race announcement and then be sure to click on the new download 1975 Zolder This will appear before the "A"s on the circuit list. "75 Zolder" or something like that. It does have one chicane, but even that is a little less vicious than the default circuit. Trust me, it makes a difference  |

I'm practicing offline at the moment and notice I can only set a max of 15 laps. Is this ok, or am I overlooking something obvious? I'm racing on the 75 Zolder from the above download |
