Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 28

Car choice restrictions: Championship Positions (CP) 1 to 3 - Procar, CP 4 to 7 - Procar or Gr.4., CP 8 and above, and new drivers - ANY.

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (30 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 12:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Drivers are advised to install the advanced setup mod. This will enable wing angle to be modified. Get the mod here http://www.mediafire.com/download/3hufvlu3k93egh3/Advanced_Setup.zip

Install three files (Game.dic, GTLOptions1.gtl and gtlui.mnu) into your folder called UIdata.

Hi all,

I tested Monaco 79 with Procar, and is impossible to complete 1 round without crashing.

Monaco 79 and grip are not friends, I don't understand. no

I do not know what change applies this image PROCAR_M1_WHEELS.GTL but the impressions that I think are worse

And also try F1 and I have the same impressions, very very bad... thumbdown

Cheers

The wheel patch fixes a graphics problem and is not physics related.

Just a few exploratory laps, PB comparable with the F1 times but it is a far nicer drive and more forgiving, able to kiss each side through the final turn without problem. Also think the brakes are more  progressive!  rockon

Remember to take the correct car based on your current championship position. Penalty's will be awarded to drivers who compete in the wrong car type.

Does that mean you have to drive the car relevant to your championship position, or can you drive a 'slower' one?

Good point Geoffers, I guess you could drive a slower one e.g. next group down if you wanted to without penalty. I'll change the handicapping to show this.
