Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Drivers are advised to install the advanced setup mod. This will enable wing angle to be modified. Get the mod here http://www.mediafire.com/download/3hufvlu3k93egh3/Advanced_Setup.zip

Install three files (Game.dic, GTLOptions1.gtl and gtlui.mnu) into your folder called UIdata.

Due to everyone losing connection (cause unknown at this time) the race was terminated on lap 17.

Results and replay now posted.

Me too. That was fun whilst it lasted, and got more fun as the race progressed and I got to grips with these beasts.

A few early "incidents" amongst the fast guys had promoted me to about 4th. Then ambition got the better of ability ( well definitely got the better of the grip available from the rear tyres!!) and I span the ar*e around and dropped to the back of the field.

A recovering Erling was soon on my tail and we enjoyed a few close laps until he got past when I screwed up again. I then tried to settle things down and concentrated on keeping things smooth and on the grey stuff as I chased Erling. Cars dropped off ahead and made mistakes and slowly I was climbing the positions.
The next target was oldgeezer and he was only a couple of seconds ahead  with half the race still to run. Tyres looked good, brakes looked OK and I was feeling more comfortable with my braking points and lines.

Then everyone vanished!!! and I lost contact with the server/lobby...................shucks!

Grats to all the fast guys up front and the podium.

Monaco (F1 67), Green Valley (TRANS AM), Dijon (BMW M1 Procar), three races and three time rammed......The nice thing is that my goal was to try win those three championship. F1 67 it s still possible, TRANS AM almost gone, BMW M1 Procar become a mirage, here i had recover 5,2 points on Erling. It s a shame because i got the qualy time with race fuel 1:22,396, Attila best race lap 1:22,612, that mean i could get at least the second place. It would been difficult to pass Dario GTO but i had saw two points where it was possible overtake " Gauche de la bretelle" and "Parabolique". Erling rammed me om the start (race accident) the my car rear was strange and i got two spin and two off track, so i lost confidence on my car. I past some laps behind MaiPor but i not could push the throttle because as i said my rear lost balance. I coult pass MaiPor on "Gauche de la bretelle" just because he mistaken. Little time after it happened the problem with server, without it maybe i could hope to finish 6th. Grats to Attila and podium, hoping to have better moments on the next races.

Not a track I like at all, but still had to get on with the job  Wink  The high curbs suggested a soft setup was the way to go, but while the car felt more benign, I got my best laptimes with a harder-than-usual setup. Strange, but couldn't argue with the numbers, so went with the harder option.

Did my first and so far only sub-23 lap in pre race practice, with a 22.7.  Regrettably I couldn't repeat it in qual and had to settle for 5th.  Start went ok. Ziu moved from right to left, cutting in front of my car. I was on the brakes early, but light before T1. Gap between us momentarily increased, but then Ziu slammed on the anchors hard. Caught me out, and before I could react, I hit him, sending him off track.  Very sorry about that Ziu oops

Waited for him to rejoin, as the rest of the field passed by. Somehow managed to miss Ziu going past, and ended up waiting far longer than necessary. Thus 14th and very much last when I finally got going again. Briefly considered retiring, as it seemed almost pointless to continue, being so far behind. Glad I didn't though, given the later result.

Caught and passed a few cars, mostly when they had various moments.  Caught up to Clive then. As expected, he wouldn't go down easily. His car being quicker than mine wasn't going to help either. I of course hoped he had made one of his frequent "hot, but undriveable" setups  Wink, but seemingly not the case.  Took several laps before I could do some slipstreaming down the straight, and attempt a move into T1.  Great success; outbraked not only Clive, but myself too  Roll Eyes  Thus status quo was maintained, when he dove under and retook the position.  More laps chasing, before he made a small mistake, losing enough momentum for me to get in front before the next turn.

Challenge then was to remain there, with a dense gaggle of cars up front. Can't recall the exact order, but passed a couple when they went off.  Chasing Tony and now having more success with the outbrake move into T1. Repeated it on Matt next lap.  Apologies guys, if it was too aggressive; not many places to pass on this track, unless the driver ahead makes a mistake.

Next up was Bob. Given his usual stability, it wouldn't be easy to find a way past.  Took some laps to get close enough for slipstreaming down the straight.  As we neared the end, Bob had moved right, presumably to break my tow, but that handed me the racing line into T1.  Took about all the braking skills I could possibly muster, but got cleanly ahead into T1.  Pitboard had indicated we were fighting over 3rd, but I honestly didn't believe it - I couldn't possibly have moved that far up the grid ?

Didn't realise until after the race, that the dark blue, rejoining car I passed shortly after was De Martini, and that I was in a seemingly impossible 2nd place when the race ended prematurely.

Grats to Attila on the win, and De Martini on 3rd.  Apologies again to Ziu; hope you can still bounce back with regards to the championship.

Cheers,
Erling

Sorry - no results this time. AutiSimAnalyzer is unable to read parts of the data - maybe a consequence of the breakdown  Huh

Couldn't find any rhythm yesterday so I lost concentration and damaged the car.  Sad
