Championship Positions 4 - 10, Abarth 1000TC or Skoda 130RS

Championship Positions 11 - 18 (and first timers), Free choice.

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (25 mins)
Race: 20:45 (4 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I know this is a long way off, but doesn't the qually period need to be longer, otherwise we will not be able to do an out lap & a flying lap. Unless of course there is a short-cut to start the flying lap!

Looks like I've copied the timings across from a two race event. Thanks for the heads up, I'll revise the times. And there is an outlap shortcut.

Details on the shortcut would be most welcome  Smiley

Shortcut details

Leave the pits and go down to the roundabout and continue passing by the rear of the pits. Take the first LHB slowly and afterwards look for spur road on your right. Take spur road slowly and it will lead you to main track just before pit lane entrance.
Sometimes you get a cut warning, most often not. I think key is going really slowly until your back on main track. Worth testing before the race.

So, if I find myself left far behind during the race, I could creep slowly around the pits and............................................... Roll Eyes whistling

Don't think this a problem as it is before the start finish line when the lap timing starts for new lap. Huh

Are there any laptimes out there for comparison reasons - I think I'll stick with the Skoda and I'm sligthly over 10:30 at the moment. Hope to improve under 10:30 on my hometrack.  Tongue

Hi guys!

I know some of you already know the news. I'm a father since last April. And since then, my life has changed a lot. Those who are parents, you know what I'm talking about.  Wink
I have not put running my dear computer since his born. The little girl consumes too much time. But I'm very very happy.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I hope to return soon to the races. I miss you all.

Have fun!
