Championship standings HERE Grid/server capacity: 22 Track: Kyalami 70's Download thisCars allowed: 1967 F1 carset Download thisPlease follow the installation instructions posted HERE. Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins) Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins) Race: 20:40 (34 laps) Time of Day Setting: 15:00 Start: STANDING Tyre wear: Normal Fuel consumption: Normal Server: simracing.org.uk Monday Password: see aboveNotes: (1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage. (2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. (3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read Autopit="0" Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable. Special Notes: None

Not our first GTL race Bill, but it will be the first championship outing for the F1 '67's. The actual first event, on Jan 4th will be a Fifties Sprint race.

Great poster Tony!
Right now I have finished the installation. Really looking forward to test these cars. Any recommendation? Soft or hard tires? Does anyone have laptime?
Thanks!

No laptime yet, but the soft tyres seem to last well.

I'm afraid everyone is in the same boat, we have no previous data to examine. I would try praccy on softs and see how they wear. I have a best laptime which I'll post tonight.

All YOU need, is Ati's time... Haven't tried all cars yet, and am not at home so can't check, but do believe my fastest so far was a 1:12.something. Edit: 1:12.35 to be specific. That was on softs, non-race-fuel, in a Brabham. Still have lots of cars to try though; am working my way through them from the top down. Cheers, Erling

Thanks guys for the replys. I made a few laps and my best time is 1.11.5 with Lotus (soft tires). We must be very careful because the slightest touch breaks the direction I'm afraid to know the Ati's time Cheers!

I simply cannot take any credit for the poster. It's just the official programme cover enlarged a bit.

No laptime yet, but the soft tyres seem to last well. Soft tyres? I thought that their tyres lasted half a season!
