I left my Lotus parked in the gravel.

How do you get back to the pits?  Drive?

I've not finished a race before!   Grin
Once you cross the finish line hit Esc or park up or drive back to pits or do some doughnuts

I hit Esc which took me to the pits but the wee monitor showed that my car was still ploughing on!

And a perfect result!  I'm now 11th so can still use the Lotus at Silverstone!

Grats to Ziu, Coyote and Geoffers. I Am Not Worthy

Well, good race for me yesterday but not good track. I hope not drive never more on Bugatti circuit. Hisotorical edition F1 1967 have Bugatti circuit but i preferd to racing on Rouen, great track for me.

Bugatti problem not it was only tyres temperature but also the layout track, here not there is a point where possible drive agressive way. I have been agressive just on qualy laps, pole 1:34,1 (on practice i got 1:33,9) and i have say honestly that i got this lap time with fuel for 39 laps................why ? Because it was the only way for me to solve the problem about tyres temperature. With so much fuel it was easy to push throttle without get oversteer because rear was balanced.

About race same, I start with fuel for 39 laps. My pace could be around 1:34 - 1:35 but i did just one lap under 1:35, I dont wanted risk, just i drove controlling Erling. So race has been bored too. The last laps i slow down too, the difference between me and Erling it was under 1 second at last lap, but i was not worried. Here not was easy pass and we had the same car so if Erling wanted win he had to risk.........and he did on the last corner but he push too on throttle and get spin. It s a shame because could be very nice e romantic finish the race in parade with two Ferrari

I think that will very interesting championship battle with Erling with the same car. I will drive Ferrari 312 66 until the season end, I sure also Erling. It will be a psychological warfare AHAHAHAHAH !!!!! I like think so

I m disappointed because yesterday few drivers were on the grid. I hope just it was a case also because we have new drivers, I take this opportunity to welcome them. I m waiting the return of Attila and Jose also.

Good race for me too.  Not wild about the track either, but it was growing on me, the more I drove it.

Surprised to be 2nd on grid, but still can't figure out how to get off the line in these cars, so Clive got the jump on me.  He next spun out before the Dunlop bridge, handing me back 2nd.  Had Geoffers in close attendance the first couple of laps, but then he too had a kitty litter moment. Only saw his car in the distance in my mirrors for the remainder of the race.

Up ahead, Ziu stretched the gap to around 6 seconds, after which it seesawed a bit.  However, every time I got closer, I would make unforced errors, overshooting a corner and lose the time gained again.  Last 3 laps became exiting, as I got real close. Had to be very careful not to punt him off on the final lap, as he braked earlier than I needed to - tyres worse maybe ?   Would have finished within 10th of a sec, if I hadn't put the power down too early and spun into the pit lane, like Ziu mentions.  Luckily the gap to Geoffers was big enough for me to retain 2nd, after getting back on track.

Grats to Ziu & Geoffers for the other podiums; commiserations to Bill who left before the race.   Don't think there will be much excitement about the Championship though, unless Ziu starts to make big errors or missing races - or Atilla comes back with a vengeance  Smiley

Cheers,
Erling

Hi Erling, If i understood well you want know if i braked earlier on corner 13 before take last corner......My answer is no because i never used brake on those point just i leave throttle for some istant i did so always also on qualy lap. On the last 3 corners i use brake just on corner 12, i push ligh way it for get cleaned line. About corner 12 i dont use brake because so i can anticipate the input and so have good traction for the last corner and start straight. I was strong about this, in fact i m sure that you not could pass me on traction.

Hi .... should not have raced, track to me was so vague, faded track edges etc (prob my eye sight, will in future stay out of races were track to me is visually poor so as not to ruin racing for other drivers ) sorry Bob M your car was damaged after our kiss so early in race.

Grats to Ziu on win

Point taken Roger. I too found it near impossible to gauge the apex for the turn called Garage Bleu. But after 10-12 laps I was hitting the right line, most of the time. Fortunately most tracks we use have well defined kerbs etc and at least some visual aids to braking areas.
Bit of a quiet race for me. Was taking it easy in the Honda as I was not that certain of the best lines/braking zones on this track. Passed Bob and Roger as they recovered from their love-in. Managed to extend my lead over Roger but had no chance of catching anyone in front of me unless they made a big error, which didn't happen. Glad to have this one behind us and quite looking forward to Silverstone next. BTW my Honda had a Ferrari dial which was a bit off putting. I need to check our server install and see if there are some files missing or in the wrong folders as offline I have no problem with errant dials.
Smallish grid but is the summer (really!).
Hopefully the newbies will turn out for the Procars at Hockenheim.

Forgot to mention Tony; I also had a wrong dial yesterday - I believe mine was from a Lotus.  Bit annoying to have a 10.000 rpm revcounter and a 12.000 rpm engine, so would be great if it can be fixed.  Have a screenshot of it at home,  so let me know if you need it.

Roger:
Even though you were slow entering that corner, still my fault for the anal probe.  Cars are just a little too skittery for my old reflexes.  Should have been more cautious on my following you.  Good racing while it lasted..........

Also me got the same problem. The first driver gone on the server was Clive , then Ferrari take Lotus rpm. If me or Erling was on server before Clive we don't get any problem. When I drove Cooper it was the same thing. If I remind well at Monaco I was first driver with Cooper to go on the server and my Cooper doesn't get any problem. At Kyalami I was driving my Cooper with Brabham rpm same on Zandvoort.

Interesting theory Ziu; if Tony joined after one of us (which he must have; just can't remember if anyone else joined inbetween), that might explain why he had a Ferrari dial.

Nice theory but I joined after everyone with the exception of Roger who joined last. Oh but marcfvs kept joining and leaving so he may of been last to join.

Maybe i m wrong, but result to me that this problem affect just Ferrari and Cooper.  The only way to proof of these teory it s that two go on the server the first with Ferrari and second with Lotus and see what happen. We have two Ferrari  one 312 67   and second 312 66, i used 312 67 on the test race at Donington but I dont remember if i got some problem. It s pity that yesterday anyone drove Cooper, it would has been interesting know about rpm Cooper without any Brabham  Roll Eyes

I've had a McLaren with a Ferrari dial. A Honda with a Ferrari dial. And wrong dials in the Cooper. Just thankfull there's that little red light. Oh and my ears work ok.

I've had a cursory look at the server files and all seems to match my own install.

I sometimes see different dials in the Lotus but since I don't know which is which I have no idea where they are from.  Just sometimes there is a red sector and sometimes not.

The Lotus 49 should have the red segment
