Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Is this the modern Moto GP circuit?

I appreciate that there isn't much option but it seems awful mincing through these poxy chicanes after the flat out blind of Spa.

Couldn't we do the old Sarthe instead?   Grin  Especially as, after I've made a complete horlicks of Spa, I should still have a good fast car!   Roll Eyes

seems to be an iffy track cut warning between turns 4 and 5 that gets applied when you still have four wheels on the tarmac.

It's very strange Tony.

I've driven slowly around there and can't make it happen.  Next time I encounter it I shall have to stop and watch the replay.

Cuts may not happen if your going too slowly.

I can confirm this.  If I drive close to the left edge, but still with all 4 on tarmac, I get a cut warning when I'm in the middle of the track heading towards the righthand corner..  wacko

Normally I love Le Mans, but I'm with you on this one.  Very difficult to get any kind of flow on this track, and tyres stays icy cold, no matter what I do; only left front can get sort of greenish in colour on XD display.

Your not alone.

quote from wiki, The Bugatti circuit was seen as somewhat boring and was universally unpopular with both drivers and crowds, with only a reported 20,000 attending the race.

Hello all,

I'm new here and hoping to compete in this race on Monday so I thought I should introduce myself. My name is Julien, I'm 26 years old and I was born in Liège, Belgium.

Normally my simracing is done with rFactor (@ raceconnect) and RBR (as I'm a rally nut) but I've decided I need more historic racing in my life and so I've reinstalled GTL.

I haven't actually played GTL in years so I don't expect to be competitive but for me that's not the point of historic racing. The cars are full of character and the people are usually friendly so I look forward to racing with all of you  Smiley

See you on track!

Hi Iceman (do we call you Ice?) and welcome to UKGTL.

You have picked a tough event to join us at, what with all the install faff this mod needs. You might be better off waiting a week and joining us for the Procars but I leave that up to you. We have a praccy server running 24/7 (except Thursday and Sunday nights) which you should try to join. This will throw up any problems and we get a chance to deal with them before race night.

We are a very friendly bunch  wacko (mostly) and we have nice size grids with all abilities from  alien's to  wheelchair.

Any questions just ask

Cheers

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the welcome. And you can call me Julien  laugh

I will try to download all the files and have everything tested by this weekend so I can actually practice.
