Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Great to be back on a proper circuit, although some of the corners seem less well defined than the old GPL version.

Done that and it hasn't killed GTL.  So that's got to be good!

It must be a "proper patch" as even I managed to get it done.  Grin

Tried a few laps with the white whale after doing the software thing and was struggling with understeer. Although I applied the same sort of set up changes that I would in GPL, I don't seem to get the same results?? I guess there is no reason why I should expect it to work in the same way, but then again it did seem logical that it should?

Only did a few practice laps and was some 6-8 secs off the AI pace. Looks like I shall have to resort to pure driving skill to stand a chance of being competitive, but that route does not fill me with hope!!!

Quite nice in the Lotus.   Roll Eyes

I keep going on the server but never find anyone.   Sad

Will have to give the AI some grief.

I'm thinking that my ancient pc may not be up to this.   Sad

If I do a single player practice session then I can lap reasonably consistently in the high 1:18s.

But if I add a dozen AI my car is almost impossible to control.  I expect that the cpu isn't quick enough to run the AI and also give my steering wheel the attention it deserves.

I suspect that the same is true when we race.  The cpu is too busy plotting where you lot have got to!   Sad

Clive, try this https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=12160.msg218224#msg218224 and also set graphics to medium.

What spec is your PC?

Also as you didn't have a problem at Monaco I doubt you will suffer  PC performance issue's here

I probably did have a problem at Monaco.  At the start I was clouted by everybody and his mate so it was difficult to know what was going on but my inability to stop before ploughing into the ruck at T1 may have had something to do with it.

I have long though that the more people that were on the server then the slower I would be.

I will take a look at your link.

The download link didn't work and I can't find it because I don't know what I'm looking for.
