Race: 20:40 (5 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I know how you feel Bill.  I'm thinking of not even qualifying, just start at the back and doing what I can do.  Maybe I'll get lucky and finish, keep it slow and steady.........

Are we able to use the short cut here to save having to do a complete un timed warm up lap during qualifying? (Like we did in the Mini's and Skoda's series).

Thanks in advance

I'm soooo looking forward to this!!  Smiley

It's going to be very hard, but driving these cars fast here is one of the most exhilarating things I've yet done in GTL!  Shocked

Just hope we all survive the start / 1st lap without entanglements or other incidents - please be careful all  Smiley

Cheers,
Erling

Just make sure I am not in front of you Erling...  Roll Eyes

If that should happen, I hope you'll do me the courtesy of either:

A: Be faster than me

B: Fall off sufficiently somewhere for me to get past

 Wink

Traditionally yes.. but, recently I seem to be doing ok at Green Hell. now I've said that of course I will  go over the
world's edge on lap 1  Shocked

I have done a couple of half laps in two cars, and both are, so far, quite drivable. I must be doing something wrong... Grin
