So your playing in the same house? Never a good thing for the network, so your single IP address is carrying both of your data? Might be more inherent with the game then as i imaging the code assumes one person per IP address.

I've raced here with my son through the same connection with no issues in GTL and GTR2.

Might it be some setting on your pc (AV or firewall) ? Maybe try logging into your RR a/c on Joel's pc and vice versa?

Yeah he is only 11 years old so i haven't managed to get him to move out yet  Wink We have never had any problems with racing this way in GTR2 or iracing so i wouldn't expect it to be any different in R3E. We actually did some R3E races in public servers a few weeks before we raced here and also had no problems with connection so i am baffled why it is so bad now.

Help, trying to join the server but if I put the normal practice PW in I get told bad password, if I use the race the seems to be loading the track and then I get dumped straight back out to the server list. What am I doing wrong? Where can I find an error message to help me out?

Just saw you trying to join Pete. Not sure what causes this but I've seen it happen to others so hopefully they'll pipe up.

Works for me Pete, we have not been bothering with a practice password with R3e so far.
Race password works. perhaps Tudor was reseting the server>?

Great race, though I'm sure I was just an annoyance to Tudor. I knew it would be pointless passing, I needed him in front, to aim at (for timing purposes, you understand). So confronted with his car on a wide line, or slow exiting, I dared not go past.
He eventually got a break, when I cut that first corner. I could see the kerb coming, had to just grin n bare it. From then on including a bit of "Oh... hum, shoulda braked a touch more then". I was just slipping farther and farther, back.

Grats to the podium gents and to the other finishers. Thanks for the opporchancity.

Fuel usage, was between 28 and 29 litres.

Results are a little off, probably because TM left early. He finished 5th

Joined the server expecting to be leaving with connection issues but for some reason everything was fine! Did my best lap of the week for the pole lap and got a good start to the race to lead away. Got my head down to turn some fast laps but wasn't initially gapping Berger as fast as i was hoping for.

After a few laps he got a cut penalty at the Schumacher S and after that i was able to get in to a nice flow and stop watching the timings so closely. Enjoyed the race. Fuel usage was around 28l if my memory serves me correctly. Grats to Berger on second and Joel on third.

Couple of things  angel
Couldn't find a forum name for Tim and Angelos, so they are in as "unknown" for the moment.
COuld JoelBlue set his country in his pfofile so the results will give him a nice little flag? Ta.

Tudor, you left the race before the countdown had finished, so it has mareked you as not finished
we will sort it, but please could people wait for the 120 secs to complete before leaving
I set it at 120 secs because some of us earth dwellers can be a while in finishing...  Grin
Nag over. Good racing from where I was sat, either I am even more carp than i think, or the
Stephen is wayyyyy better on the brakes than I am  Roll Eyes

I "think" the server is set to no fuel. Could be wrong, but my fuel was 100ltr all the time
EDIT: just checked while restarting the server for Thiursday's Gr5 event, fuel is set to "normal"
But I saw 100 start to finish

only managed about 30 mins practice for this race due to stroppy 3 year old not wanting to go to bed, so I just tried to keep out of everyones way for the first few laps till I got my braking points sorted. started well and was swapping places, but then little mistakes running wide (and getting slow down penalties) meant that I drifted back. Starting to prefer this game to AC (apart from the limited amount of tracks available).

@GT, On the subject of tracks will we need any of the American tracks for the 3 series you are organising, because the American track pack is on 60% discount at the moment

hello,

i did not watch my fuel at end of race, but around 25l or 28l what i did read is very much not much,
as then perhaps maximal 40min. are possible (or lower).

i know in ADAC GT2014 master cars i can do totaly easy 40min. races, the 100l start to get down after many laps (perhaps after 15-20min. but not sure) , so probably the ADAC GT cars have a 140-150l tank perhaps, so that they can do longer races, i am nearly sure 1hour with ADAC GT master cars are possible.

probably the GT3 class have not so big tank and the start to get down from 100l (which in R3E is maximal in HUD, but any cars have bigger tank) start more early (i did not watched during race, damn) as with the ADAC GT cars.

for longer races the ADAC GT cars are better then (but people must buy this for 9.99euro, or perhaps cheaper if you own GT3 cars already, but not sure), or you must set the fuelusage to OFF in GT3 class and only make pitstop for tyres, then endurance races possible, but later comes pitstops for fuel too in this game, but no idea when.

i did a good race, but jayblue was to quick and 2xcutpenalty was not good too, damn cutpenatlys....
