But you do have a car for races everywhere, do you not? I mean, different physics, but the same car? (I hope so ) Not sure what you mean TT To clarify: We are racing the GTR3 cars and you will need to buy at least 1 of these to take part in this race and next year's GT3 series. There are 10 to choose from.... http://game.raceroom.com/store/cars/gtr-3You can not buy these GTR3 cars as a pack yet. If you want to buy all the GTR3 cars you must buy them separately. DO NOT BUY the ADAC '13 or ADAC '14 cars or car packs to race here because they are a totally different class.

Ok. I'll just stick to track and 1 car for this race. As for understeering - I must agree. I find GT1 Saleen a lot more forgiving to drive than these GT3 cars. Well, need more laps, I guess.

I don't know, there is definitely a second or so more speed in the Ford. I look at some of the laptimes and wonder how these guys achieve them. For me since the update of the physics, the gt3 cars seem to understeer alot. Saturday I got into the ruf GT2 and it was amazing, doing everything I want. I can put any of the gt2 cars where I want it. But any of the gt3 cars, I find them difficult to turn in.
The point is, I think its my wheel, or just the setup changes S3 has made to these cars. But getting back into the GT2 just reaffirmed that I was not going mad with the understeering issues I am facing.
Can anyone confirm if they have experienced the same sort of symptoms? Or is it just me and my crazy wheel.
I am on the verge of buying a CSW vs 2 base and new pedals and rim. Because sometimes I think my g27 sucks on steering imputs

I'm not sure what you are experiencing there Ant. Yes, the GTR3 cars are understeery with default setup but I'm guessing that's the way they are meant to be IRL and that setup is key to getting the best out of them. The last physics update brought them much closer to the real cars according to RL drivers who were involved in the testing/development. There's a video from a live stream somewhere where 2014 ADAC champion Kelvin Van Der Linde talks about this as he's driving the new build. It's pretty clear that he is happy with the results and that the cars react in a way that is very close to RL. Same thing goes for some of the limited setup options which were introduced in the last update which now reflect the RL setup options teams would have available to them. As for the G27 the centre deadzone is a well known limitation on these wheels so maybe this is what you are feeling. My lowly DFGT actually comes out much better in this regard according to data gathered over at the AC forum.

Hey Goldtop
Thanx for the reply.
The real problem I have is that I don't have the confidence in coner exit, its like I don't have the front end. I have tried many different setup options, but the car seems more understeering that when I am on board with other drivers.
For example, the long right hander at Zandvoort just before the end of the first sector. Its like I have to wait forever before I can get on the power in a GT3 car, but in the GT2 I am on the power pretty quickly and have the confidence that the car won't understeer at the end of the corner.
I was in lobby with George ortan. He was pumping, he supposedly use's a G27. His exit from corners are way more aggressive and he has the confidence to pin it out of the corner. I just can seem to get the same confidence without understeering on exit. Please I know his super quick, but I am just trying to figure this out.
I don't really experience such a dead zone issue as others might, but its like my wheel rotation is hampered on certain cars only, GT3 being one of them. I have tried numerous setup preferences and there is very little difference that I find. I used to have a second difference between a GT2 car and a GT3, now its like 5 seconds.
Its just doesn't make sense to me at the moment

Tried some single races. What's with the fuel and tyres, where do you set these? Was probably answered before, but, you know...

Do we consider changing track cutting management after the E2H Laguna race? Wouldn't want the game / server settings to ruin close racing here.

Tudor can decide, but for the moment I have reduced the end of race wait time to 60secs, and have turned off cuts on the server

Cut penalties stay on for all the Sunday night races. It is the same for everyone and if you go off track it usually means you have made a mistake or have been pushing the limits too far. I'll test every track and if I think any are grossly unfair, I'll review the decision on a race by race basis. We are all good drivers here and we should all be able to stick to track limits. The alternative is finger pointing/bad feeling. Furthermore I can't see a queue of non racing volunteers lining up to wade through the replays.

Fair enough, do you want drive through or slow down, you may not have experienced the new slow down which is quite different.

Do we have a possibilty to set different penalties for actualy cutting a corner (gaining time) and when you brake too late, leave the track on the outside of the corner which slows you down anyway? Or is it already set like this? Only tried single races, sorry.

You can set the penalty as slow down, stop and go, or drive through, but not what gets penalised Tim says the sensitivity of the cut tracks depends on the penalty setting, it is less harsh if you set it to drive though for example. I need to do some testing to see which suits best. I was a big fan of the original slow down penalty, but I a big hater of the new one.

Oh cwap, I do hope not. I wasn't aware there were any changes to penalties or track limits in last update (except for the bugs at Monza which were put right in a hotfix). I'll have to do some more testing Edit: thought I'd ask the question at the S3S forum. https://forum.sector3studios.com/index.php?threads/have-slow-down-penalties-changed-in-last-update.3691/#post-44665
