Results posted. I enjoyed that 1st GT3 race I've done when I had someone to race at the same pace. As Giannelis said, I jumped out of his way in T2 to let him by safely, he was a bit quicker, so was no prob for me. I guess TT is Tomas? so used to racing you as "TrueTom" couldn't find you in the drivers list, so you are "unkown" I will make you as TrueTom for future events ( as that is the only lobby name you have here) The rest of the registered drivers I managed to find and update the list ok Not sure why but it didn't recognise you Postal either. sorted now. Please could any new drivers who would like to race with us again, please fill in your country in your profile so you get a nice little flag of your country next to your name in the results. Ta. There are no R3E Historic races for the next two weeks, but we will start the new E3H Historics series Thursday 7th jan 2016 with DTM92, Gr5, Touring Classics, and BMW M1 Procar events. Please come along if you are free Thursdays for more great R3E racing, with many of the same people. Good series GT, thanks for putting it together

Thats was a cool race, a little lonely in 3rd, Joel spun out on lap two coming onto the start finesh straight, then all I tried to to is build a gap to 4th without making mistakes.

Looks like those Fords and McLarens are mighty quick!!! So was aiming for top RUF. Happy to take 4th, after a rather messy drive. Cant remember the RUF behind me, but probably scared you a few times!!!

Truetom, yes. Must see how to change to a proper nick in game Eck, sorry, after cintact I tried to let you position back and seems you didn't want it. And a slippery fox passed us both. Nice racing, only I miss all the data I'm used to have from GTR2. Didn't have any idea what was happening with the engine, tyres, brakes...

Stay as you are Tomas It's not a problem if people want to change their driving names, but the results input fails if it sees new names it has not seen before so I have to update the little database with cross references to who is driving as who. No prob, just makes (my) life easier if people stick to a name. The names are for each racegame we run here, so the race import for GTR2 uses a different list. i am building up the R3E list as we get more new people. Actually I am a little embarrased I didn't spot you in the results... but you are now in as a R3E driver "TrueTom" for any future R3E events. The in race info is still poor, but there is some. Top right of your screen is a little info block with engine health which I have never seen do anything yet.... tyres are in the lower part of the block. anything less than 100% is noticeable, 97% is like - maybe half way down the XD green/red bars in GTR2, it is not exactly "to scale", I believe if you use manual clutch, it quickly breaks the gearbox, and I suppose there may be some info in that info block, but I have always used auto clutch in this, so I can't help with that one.

hi TT,
to change your name in this racegame, you must load the game, then comes a screen with 5 things to select, like single player, multiplayer and so on.... click on the last thing, PORTAL (for me in german is name)
then you see in top of screen in right side any things which you can click on... there is a little picture which looks a little like a "wheel" (is is next to ..go back to game...) click this and you can select a new name (in german this thing is called Kontoeinstellung)
if i remember correct, this is only way to change your name in this racegame, very complicated this is and hard to finding.

Thanks Berger. Matt ... you were too late Changed the name to Truetom TT as it wants two name fields. Tried single race and I was showed as T.TT - LOL We'll see what happens next. We can talk of simplifying things after the next race Matt?

No worries, as long as I know, it's quite easy to sort it. We just make you SROUK name match whatever your in game name is, takes seconds if I know who you are. Some people have many in game names pointing at their SROUK lobby name.

Right, i must admit these GT3's made for some good racing last night. Looks like the American Iron are the wheels to have. No Godzilla's on track yesterday? Off the line i noticed flickering cars, so i was hesitant to push hard, but after a couple of turns the rest looked rather solid from connection side. Had a few nice overtakes early on, but then had a big gap to the cars in front. Managed to keep the gap to the pack behind me, but that made for a bit of a lonely race for the second half. Having the Euro Track Pack with the addition of Spa and the Sachsenring it seems i am nearly ready for the GTM series.
Had a fiddle with the ffb settings on my DFGT to get rid of the floaty feeling and constant rumble in the wheel. Looks like lowering the vertical- and horizontal load settings helps this latter issue a bit. I use 100% steering rack forces for now, but still keeps a bit of a unresponsive feeling to it. Maby to up the overall ffb strength again? I do miss the tyre settings and wear a bit, but it makes setting up chores quite easy for now. Still, this game provides solid racing. I am liking that.

Attention Drivers: There a lot of Nationality flags missing in the results table. Please fill in the driver details part of your respective profiles to fix this. Thank you.

You only need the Euro track pack and Spa for GTM series (and some of the endurance events). Sachsenring is included in the Euro pack.

What an exciting race that was! Narrowly missed out on pole in quali but was nearly able to get in to the lead on the opening lap as myself and Tim ran side by side for most of it. Eventually i had to tuck in behind and settle in to a rhythm. After a few laps i started to push and closed up little by little to Tim but the Ford was quicker on the straight and he drove really well so opportunities were few and far between. Had a small overlap exiting T1 around half way through the race but couldn't make it stick and after that all i could do was increase the pressure to try to force a mistake. A few laps before the end Tim ran wide at T1 and i was able to move past and hang on for the win. A great race, very intense and fair. Looking forward to the new season in 2016
