Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 19

Track: East London (Prince George Circuit) Download this

Cars allowed: Aston Martin DBR1 Download this, Jaguar D-Type (1955 version only) Download this, Mercedes 300SL (LM55) Download this, Austin Healey 100 Download this, AC Ace Download this

Free car choice for this race.

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (26 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

Tony, I presume the cars are unchanged from last season with the exception of the addition of the AC Ace.

Going to try  the Austin 100 again.  Last season I discoed at the green so will try it again..  Drove a few laps in the Ace,  seems to be real close to the Austin times, need some  more chassis set up time, should fit in good with the rest of the cars....

Almost certainly going with the Healey, too. It's matching my times with the LM55, but in a more manageable and predictable way.

Note that this is a free car event so whatever you choose will not impact on your remaining cars tally  Wink

I just dropped in and gave the DBR1 a few laps. No connection issues.

If you cannot connect try changing your Lobby.txt file content to say

gtl-server.net

But keep your existing Lobby.txt file somewhere safe.

I think Altbierbude had a major server failure and they have moved the GTL lobby to an old location. This may be a temporary measure?
