Yes had read that the Mazda has the edge in performance over the c9 but figured people might still want to take both depending on what they feel they can keep on track   Tongue

Agree on the h-shifting too, feels great in AC!

By the way, if anyone has a good idea for a car/track combo, feel free to offer it up here or via pm  Smiley

Having not been able to do any practice can i advise against thinking too big! Your likely to put people off if their too difficult to drive.

Another night gone, can someone post something up, even just a normal post  with the details?

Sorry guys been too busy with real life last couple of days to put anything last minute ad-hoc together.
With my sim racing currently focused on a well attended Gt3 series over at Core, I haven't got the spare time to test/try any random combos. To be honest that wasn't what I was interested in sorting weekly anyway, it was Chris' intention. I'm happy to set up a proper racing mini series like I did for the E30's as that's what floats my boat and is also only thing I'm happy to give spare time to practising for alongside my gt3 training. Just not enough spare time to do much else.
So who's up for another race series?

Can still put up something for this week as a fun race but it's late notice again so attendance may be low  Undecided
Alfa GT or escorts at zandvoort?
Lotus Elise or exige at Donington?
Gallardos at Mugello?
Etc

Do something easy to pick up. Or something you might start a season with.

How about a combo that everyone had enjoyed before? Getting a bit late now to get a reasonable field. I'll keep checking in to see if there is any progress.

Hi all. Don't worry Mark, i think we all know about limited time and real life stuff. I appreciate the weekly fun races, but like you i am all for some kind of series. That is what floats my boat. So if you feel like it, i am very happy to join a mini-series.

As for tonight's race how about AR-GTA vs Lambo Muira SV @ Zandvoort or Vallelunga? Altough the Gallardo might also be nice to drive sometime..

As for a mini series. I do like the older car sets, but maybe we can alternate 2 mini series along Chris's fun races?
A Ferrari 458 or Lotus Evora GX (no TC, no ABS) series and a F1 Legends:  F312T vs McLaren M23 vs Lotus 72D series? (i can think of 10 tracks on which these would be great out the top of my head right now  Grin)
