(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages. (3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally) (4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit. Hey Gents
I did some testing on this car. But I think the setup changes don't really make a difference, default is pretty close, I might be wrong.

Hockenheim GP has a pretty long straight, so I believe the gear ratio in the default settings needs to be changed. The track is nice, but I'm not a big fan of the M1, it seems unrealisticly floaty to me, but the again, I haven't tried the real thing ..... YET :- )) Hope we get a big turnout tomorrow. Stig

It is floaty with the default setup to me, but stiffen the front a bit and it becomes more realistic.

Also, and I don't understand why, but, since they changed the steering the M1 in particular has become floaty the Nissan in the Touring Classics is similar, and both seem more sensitive to steering settings. Too high geared and they spin if you look at them, too low geared and it's like driving an oil tanker. I had a good steering setup for the M1 that I liked, but I have just rebuilt that WIn10 box with Win7 (because I got fed up of trying to make GTL give me the car I had asked for on line) and now I am starting from scratch....

Damned ...... one of the clamps on my G25 broke Still it was fun while it lasted, even though the gap in laptimes between me and the majority of the racers seems to be growing for every race Stig

I have been distracted with PC rebuilding,so had no practice or setup time for this. Saw Stig crawling past thepits, and assumed he was waiting for someone to play with didn't realise he had a hardware issue Was wayyy behind Jim when Stig left, so slowed up to have some fun with Larry for the last few laps

Hopefully I'll get it fixed for the next race, 'cause I'd sure hate to miss racing my RRE favorite car on a great track like Sonoma :- )) My G25 has served me well for many years, but if I end up having to buy a new wheel, I could use some advice. Is G29 a lot better than G27? Is there an alternative worth considering? Stig Stig

wow what a great race love these cars and this track Larry no problem at all, was a bit squeaky bum time when it happened as 2nd place was only 11 seconds behind! but no worries mate. managed to get a fantastic start and got in front of Reinhard and then controlled the race from the front, I have to chalk this down to one of my best wins so far! great racing all round JP

Was a decent race for me too, but I drove like a fool on the first 2 laps - massive tank slapper in T1, then missed my braking point into the hairpin (sorry for the contact, think it was Anth). Then on lap 2 I braked too late in the same place and had to chuck it onto the runoff on the outside to avoid another accident.
After that I calmed myself a bit and managed to get a decent groove but it took another 3 or 4 laps of overdriving before I found some consistency
Had a decent scrap mid-race and good chase at the end of the race.
Bloomin love the M1, it's a blast

Very eventful and exciting race from flag to flag. Had a good start and was going well in 2nd place after a few laps trying to hang onto John when I got my turn in wrong at T2 and the car flipped over after a bit of two wheeled madness that seemed to go on forever Re-joined in 4th and a fair way back but then Reinhard made a mistake which put me in 3rd and left me chasing down Ant for a few laps until I sneaked past. Had Reinhard reeling me in towards the end but grimly managed to hang on to take 2nd BTW, Raceconnect are beginning their Raceroom historics season this coming Tuesday 2nd February and would welcome drivers from here if you're around. http://www.raceconnect.com/component/option,com_attend_events/task,view/id,2847/Tuesdays are my band practice night at the moment or I would be joining them for this.

I hope they are also publishing info about our series, when I tried to, the mod deleted my post and sent me a snotty message.
