Yep, Like Tony said.

Unlike Tony, who seems able to do the work of 3 men without his missus kicking him out  Roll Eyes
I only post a few races at a time, partly because I am lazy, partly because I like to drive at least a few laps
at each track I think is suitable to avoid embarrassing mis matches, and that takes time, and partly because in R3E I am waiting for
new content to be released so I can include that class as well. The GTO cars are soon to be 3 not just the Audi, when they are released
I am intending to slot them in, possibly as the 5th element. So, "probably" it will go - DTM92, Gr5, Touring Classics, M1 Procar, GTO
so a different class each week.
In P&G I used to run a different championship for the different classes, so for e.g one for Sports cars, one for Yank tanks etc
As R3E is still quite new here, i opted for a single championship for the time being, so I could judge if any of the classes were particularly
unpopular. Some people like some classes more than others, but it doesn't seem so big a deal that no one turns up for the Gr5 events for e.g
and some people really enjoy the masochism of the Gr5s  Grin err like me... who can't drive them, but I love the nutty things big styley
Also, if all the classes are in the same championship it means people who are chasing points have a reason to come to all the class races
not just the one that is their favourite. So far it is working well, and we are gathering interest from new members who also are attracted
to Tudor's Sunday GT3 style events.

When the GTO class is released I "might" ask Tony the wizard to create 5 more championships, one for each car class. In which case
this Championship will end maybe in March, and 5 new Championships will start, but I am slightly uncomfortable with that.
Whatever happens, these Thursday R3E races will continue here at least until the end of the year, one way or another.  thumbup1 thumbup1 thumbup1

Matt varies the car pack each week. Currently he is concentrating on the Touring Classics, DRTM '92, Procar and Gr.5 car packs.
Great. Thx Tony.

I've added a promo type poster, with a link to the SROUK page HERE. Note: you need to click on the 'Blue event' on the calendar to see the poster.

I've just used some generic RRE pics of various Historic RRE cars. Hope that's ok, and set it to the end of the year.

I'd happily do the same for the GTL events on Monday.

No problem. It'd be great if a few can race.

Let me know if the link doesn't go live for you.  I'm sure I'd set it all to public, rather than registered.

If the link worked, you'd see THIS. If that links works  Embarrassed

Very kind of you Ross. We are currently experiencing rather good attendances but always room for some more  Wink

Great.

Yes, I'd seen the posters back in December, and did a plug in the RC forums: http://www.raceconnect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=390&t=6302

I'll add GTL to the Calendar for Mondays shortly (time permitting).

Great to see the LM55 and Trans-Am grids with really strong numbers. I'd love to get involved in some (again, time permitting),

Achh, it is one of your fave tracks. I need to email you some lucky charms

Sigh, results messed up. I assume some people left before the race over count? if anyone does that it messes up the results
please stay in until the race over counts down, even if youre peed off. it's ok if you drop out early, but if you finished its an issue
maybe the count finishing at 60Secs didn't get the results right? hmm it looked correct when I left
I will watch mr replay to make sure, and dilute to taste

Really not good race for me, just before the end of practice, the game frozen. I did two hot laps for qualifying, but unable to put all the turns together, clipped the silly drum at the hairpin, but unable to recover from there..

Grats podium you guys deserve it..

Oh, and welcome to Huub, always good to see some new members  Grin
Please could you fill in your country in your profile so you get a nice flag against your name in the results?
Thanks

Default chat key is "T" on track only, there is not yet a way to chat when not on the track (except teamspeak perhaps)
You can't change fuel yet, it is preset, I leave the server as "normal" so it does use fuel, anf the car does get a bit lighter
but we never come close to running out in these 30 min races.

pretty indifferent race for me. Decent start with a bit of dicing, then I dropped back and was defending from Reinhard for a bit before running wide. Me and Anth had a good scrap till he tagged me in turn 5 (I think), but he had the good grace to wait. Unlike the driver of the Vauxhall who blatantly spun me round in the last corner then buggered off

Had a bad start when someone was slow off the mark and then I got tagged and turned round. Had a few laps on my own until I caught Larry and we then had a great scrap ... very enjoyable, Sir  Grin

Congrats to the podium guys  Smiley
