This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

Practice: 20:00 GMT (30 mins)
Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45 ~ 60 Minutes

Cars allowed: Any car from "GTR3" Class
One car change allowed during the season without penalty
Track: Sachsenring
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon
Weather: Dry

Start: Manual rolling start with formation lap
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: x2
Pit-stops: Minimum 1 stop required

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: see above
Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

GT

I just joined the server, fuel is not on X2

Fuel was on x2 and tyres normal....both myself and Matt checked  Huh

Nightmare trying to get a decent setup for this track and went to grid still without a clue. Again others' misfortune and a lot of concentration gave me an another unexpected win  sweatdrop

Enjoyed that, though I don't like the track, too many blind exits. I like to see where I am about to crash  Shocked

Brilliant race gents, grats to Tudor, Martin and Ant. Sorry for the start Larry, I was just so happy at seeing a grid full of cars, I went for it... lol. Soon dawned on my feeble old mind, as no one else was doing the same... I'm a bottom... again.

Tudor, before you took your pitstop, as I was kinda getting close, you disappeared. I backed off n watched the arrow on the map. Suddenly, I was along side, never been so glad to find you going to pit...

Seeing as I've no idea when I'll next be around on a Sunday, I stopped n exitted giving everyone behind, a lift up the finishing order.

Grats again all, thanks for letting me play.

Done loads of practice laps at this circuit, not particularly fast 1:23's 1:24's. Got myself a reasonable set up and could lap consistently all week...until race time...then I was off at every other turn!!! lol. Do grip levels change from offline to online?

Sorry if I got in anybody's way...determined to finish even though I was a few laps down.

Great race, Just made a mistake in lap 1, over enthusiastic on the throttle, I caught GT, but as I pitted the wonderful engine light came on, then finally at the end of the race had to crawl around as the wonderful bullet proof McLaren finally broke,  Grin

This car is a blast to drive, but its very pedantic you look at it wrong and it brakes..

Might consider a car change for tge next one if the update is not realized, hopefully there is a fix for this scrap car

How on earth were you able to damage the car? Too short gearing?

Not short gearing, pushing the car hard I guess, doesn't suit my driving style. Who knows
