This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

Practice: 20:00 BST (30 mins)
Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45 ~ 60 Minutes

Cars allowed: Any car from "GTR3" Class
One car change allowed during the season without penalty
Track: Hungaroring
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon
Weather: Dry

Start: Manual rolling start with formation lap
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: x2
Pit-stops: Minimum 1 stop required

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: see above
Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Guy's, we are carrying a small deficit which would be nice to get rid off before subs time comes around again. If you have already contributed towards our cost's, Thank you. If you haven't, then please consider a small contribution. It is only through your generosity that we are able to keep going.
Thanks for reading,
Tony

Was just about to post a reminder about the time change for our non UK drivers: We have moved our clocks forward and are now on British Summer Time which is GMT +1 hour. Please check your local timings  Wink

Not sure how soon the Bentley will be released Anty but I believe that the physics for all GT3 cars will be updated in next week's mega patch.

I was testing just now, I lost the Mclaren and barley bumped the wall and engine was dead. The Corvette on the other hand I drove flat out into the wall to test the durability of it and I was still able to continue driving. I know the Bentley is still in for livery approval at Benelty, so yes maybe there is a chance for it soon..

Ish

I changed the livery and had no engine light, this track is demanding on gear change with all my engine light problems I have had. And the one DNF. I really thought I was history. But I put this car through its paces and no worries. Miracle.. Even though a livery can't change anything tonight it seemed to be ok.

The last 20 minutes after my stop putting on fresh rubber the car really came together. I was able to be consistent in the high 1:46's the car really came together. I have a slow start and GT was all over me till he made a mistake. I came around the one corner sideways and I think he was a little caught off guard. But that first part he kept me very honest. Just before the stop I make a big mistake at turn one lost it understand braking. But I just had enough to keep GT behind me after the stop. The I pushed like crazy to the end.

Great race.  scooter

Nice racing Anty  Cool I managed to hang on for a while until I made a mistake at T2....just seeing your car getting a bit loose through there was enough to get me over excited and break my concentration  laugh

Made a couple of costly errors trying to chase back and then decided to try and make up time by not changing my tyres at the pitstop. Big mistake as the car just got steadily worse for the remaining laps. Crew chief was giving me a hard time about it too  Roll Eyes

Thanks to those who turned out tonight...hopefully we'll have a few more back with us after the holidays.

Help, I am confused. This event says 27th March, and there is a results file for it. but it doesn't exist in the results entry list
which suggests it either doesn't exist or has already had the results entered..... But in "Forthcoming" it is top of the list
which suggests it has not happened yet....

EDIT:

Ugh, poor web update, I have entered results, must be losing evenmore marbles as I thought I had already done it..

Lol, I know you've got enough on your plate atm so I didn't shout up earlier about the results not being done.

I can start reminding you about things if you like, I do it for my mum all the time  Wink
