RRE Season 3 (2016) Race Room Aquila Sports Cup - Mid-Ohio - May 15

This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Hope we get a good turnout for this one. The Aquila seems to suit this track very well and should provide some very close racing.

Made some 50 laps today but it doesn't show in advanced stats

Only works if you go via singleplayer, leaderboard challenge then it gauges your lap times against those on the leaderboard and display it on the leaderboard.

My stats page never really seems to be up to date.

Hmm, ok. Low 31 for me. But it eats my fronts, must lower the wing and then laptimes will be worse...

Stats page has been disabled for the last few days while devs try to sort out a problem so no laps will be recorded. Leaderboards are still active.

I hope you all enjoy the race.. I don't think I will make server 1 or 2 for the WTCC championship. I need like about 0.068 of a second to make server 2 and I need like about 0.250 to Maybe make server 1. The times are super close. Have fun Gents.. Sorry for the high jack.. Hahaa

I think you probably need to set your preferences (or whatever they call it) to metric. I don't think you can mix metric and imperial.

Run 10 minutes in single player or multilayer and see how much fuel you use, then x4 + a bit extra for a 40 minutes race. Aquila uses somewhere between 1 litre and 2 litres per minute
