Doesn't look right, but could be, I "think" I was 1st to leave  Huh
Ok, had another go and I think it looks correct now.

Glad you seem to be enjoying this so far. I think the Formula Juniors will prove to be quite popular too and with a great selection of GT3 cars (and more to come) I'm also looking forward to our sprint and endurance races. I've posted on the S3 forum to try to get a few more on the grid for Thursdays and Sundays but as usual, not much interest.

Regards starts, if it helps just think of it as with the RL races: Rolling starts for GTs and standing starts for Formula (Ford) Juniors and DTM  Wink

Everyone down to and including Hotkeys finished I think.

Strange about the start, Pete. I started right away, didn't see anything that might tell me I stalled or something.
There were some funnies last night, I think it was Carl chasing me for a couple of laps, except I couldn't see him. I had a gap in the end of lap times during this period as well. At one point he was some 4 secs behind, then timing told me TT was chssing me and then he suddenly appeared right on my tail.

On the last lap I caught Apex up, he was weaving all over the shop and I couldn't avoid taping him under braking when I thought he'd gone left to give me room on the right.

Agreed with the strange and funnies, you seemed to have also disappeared in my replay at end of race.  I was chasing you for several laps trying hard to close in and had my own self induced spin.   Eck No worries bout the early incident, kerb bouncing in Raceroom seems a bit exaggerated now.  Upside, it gave me a chance to concentrate on consistent laps to catch up, a challenge in it's own right.

As for the DTM format,  I have very basic knowledge with setups, mostly from what I've read and tried with my own car at our local tracks.  But goldtop seems to have the right idea, I feel overall softening these cars helps reduce the skate feel handling.  Late in the race I started dipping into the yellow on tire wear and noticed coming off corners to be even more gentle with throttle was key to survive to the end.

Overall fun and challenging race for me.  Not real familiar with the current FIA DTM.  I've always enjoyed watching it in the past, but kind of lost my love for it after it became an Aero dependent sport using cheat buttons to add entertainment.  Though I love the push forward for technology it's kind of lost some of the door banging Touring car vibe.  When BMW rejoined the series I got excited for 3 manufactures going at it but naww it was still the same.  If you loose a dive plane or front splitter your chance for podium is pretty much null.  F1 has lost it's luster in similar ways for me but that's a whole other topic indeed.

I'd be up for some 1992 DTM stuff, oversteery sawing at the wheel like a maniac is always enjoyable! Grin

thanks again for letting a Yank join ya.

You can have different versions of the dash hud, the minimalist one included a means of seeing tyre 'wear' 4 rectangles that reduce with wear and they then turn yellow and then red.

Thanks, I found it :- ))
