But you have talent GT. I often ran 4th through the first chicane last night, it was more stable, but it didn't make me any quicker.

Key to making these drivable for me was sorting out the braking, as either the fronts would lock up or the rear would come round on corner entry. Seemed to be a narrow window for the brake balance to work, and getting that right plus the brake pressure helped a lot. Think I also stiffened rear rebound dampers, and softened rear arb and springs. Still had to modulate the brake on entry, and feather the throttle over the crests, but much more manageable (and fun!). If I can drive them you should have no problems at all Pete!

Good race early on, chasing GT and John; then my usual spin when I took too much kerb, which dropped me further behind. Congrats GT and John.

Unfortunately I may not make the next few races as I've broken my wrist this morning and been told no guitar, cycling or driving for 6 weeks, damnit..! I may try and experiment with auto gears, but not sure how that will work out. Shame as I think we have the makings of a good season's racing here and didn't want to miss out!

Sorry to hear about your wrist Dieter, hope it mends well and soon. BTW, sounds like you have exactly the same interests as I do.....always wondered why so many simracers also play guitar.

Agree with the comments about the brakes, I ended up settling for 50/50, and just accepted
some front locking. The track may not have been ideal as the 1st event, Tudor is right
the crests take some learning.  I have a few guitars, and have played in a few bands from
prog rock to clubby pop outfits over the years. I am now in the words of as young boy I know
"Ex rock star, famous racing driver"  Grin and I have a tee shirt to prove it  Roll Eyes
here's one of the more embarrasing clips from the mid 90's. I am the idiot withthe purple headband
I am also. through the sequencer (programmed) playing the drums, bass, lights, and maybe some background pads
