I quite fancy that the Lotus 2-11 GT4 would make for some good "normal" racing for one week.

Definitely need to the Cobra at some point, although it's not as silly as the trucks, and I would hazard a guess its much harder than the trucks.

Fair point about something more normal  Wink. Never driven that Lotus, so no idea how it is. Also a track you think of?  angel

I've not driven that variant either, but as it has more power than the other ones I have driven, it can only therefore be better.  Wink

Not too long a track, they're only small cars. Is there a National circuit for Hockenheim or maybe one of the shorter Zandvoorts, or Okayama maybe as thats nice and wide so good for lots of different lines and overtaking.

More power is always welcome, as the other Lotus cars are kinda blant.

There is not other layout of Zandvoort as far as I can tell. The Okayama version I can find, looks like  dots . So in order to keep the entry effort small, without additional downloads, maybe Nurburgring Sprint?

The Lotus 2-11 GT4 looks nice and racy to me also. Also never tried or raced them before. Considering the smaller grid sizes the short lay-out of the Nurbugring sounds good.

Tried the Lotus, but to me it felt like the same boring car as all the other Lotus'. Can anyone else try them, and see if they are worth a shot?

Well, I dunno. Never driven the Lotus. Also as i do not have a lot of time to practice the choosen combo before raceday, it would be sweet if we can decide on the car tonight. Would like to do some laps with the particular car and track.
If it is something not too hard to set-up and with a little bit more ooommphffff we could race the Huracan Super Trofeo.

Jeff, your idea of a fun car is that it MUST go sideways at EVERY corner, and/or weigh over 2 tonnes. ;-)

I can have a go with this car tonight and let you know. Pretty sure it's good for actual racing, even if it doesn't go sideways!

Well...yes  Grin. If somebody can set up the combo I am fine with it, we just need a benchmark time for the amount of laps.

I'm surprised you don't like them Jeff, they back into the corners rear end first. They are very light and nimble compared to most of the things we drive. Yes they sounds like hair dryers.

Nurburgring Sprint seems a little long in these cars. Managed a 1:41.0 in 5 laps of racing with the AI. So take 2-3 seconds off that for aliens!

There's also Vallelunga Club, which is a 54 second lap. It's a bit mickey mouse, but with not many people probably a good thing. Not a great fan of the track myself, best in slower cars tbh. Not enough tracks in this game!? Barcelona Moto is a possibility?

Lets keep nurb sprint IMO, even in that you don't use all gears. Brands Indy is als short, but we didnt see eachother, so I don't really think that will really matter. 18 laps then?
