Just got a shiny new iPod. But how the heck do I get my music from my PC on to the darn thing?

Hi Wiltshire Tony,

I do this with iTunes which you can download free for your PC. It's not everyone's favourite piece of software but it will allow you to sync your new ipod with your PC and then decide which of your existing MP3 files you wish to transfer. You then have the option to add more apps, music or updates if you wish.

Hope this helps.

I ideally wanted to avoid using iTunes. But thanks for the suggestion  thumbup1

Here are some alternatives.

I am an iTunes user so have no experience of using any of these. Good Luck!

Thanks for the link. Quite interesting and some software there that I hadn't come across before. However due to time constraints I've decided to bite the bullet and install iTunes for now.
