Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Yikes, bathurst! Never managed to actually learn the top of the mountain, especially in iR. Will need to put some decent laps in for this.

Last time we were here we ran the DTM92, and it was a cracking race  Grin
this time we will be using the Touring classics, which are similar (ish)

It's often a race of attrition, I mostly manage to finish these days, but I have to be calm
and not drive like I stole it  Roll Eyes

Found the BMW M3 grpA handling well round here, found the turbo cars so off boost over through the middle section. Still struggling a little, if you get the line a bit wrong it hurts you all the way through.

Was expecting a bigger turn out for this one, it's always a great race here.
I should have kept the Volvo, had not realised that Eck had gone to it, could have had a proper
tussle  Grin The Datsun is much faster here than the Volvo, normally I can't drive the Datsun
and am faster in the Swedish tank  Huh

this was a hard race,
if i was in start grip, i had NO gearhud to see, no trackmap, no standing, no tyrewear, nothing, only i saw my cockpit,
so i was not sure, if i had 1st gear or 2nd gear in for start and did slow start, and was unhappy,
then i was not sure if other driver see me (or my car do make blink blink and jump forward , backward, like anty had this in past anytimes), but i was able to see other cars perfect.
only i did not see who did drive the car, no names over car it was too, nightmare.
i was then 4th and let a little gap to the first 3, as i still was not sure how others did see my car.

later in race the red/black nissan had little problems i think and i did overtake and was 3rd, i was then in last laps close to the red/white nissan, but was not able to overtake without a risky move, so i did not risk,
so i did drive a good 3rd place home, which is very good with this no information i had and if i did jump in server i was dead slow too, miles behind the fastest drivers, so i am happy, that i did found good speed during the race (quali i was already fast).

congrats winner and finisher

servus

edit..did forgot to write, that i had NO virtual mirror too, only the realistic cockpit mirror, which i normaly not use, strange this was, no idea why this did happen to me, i think in past someone had similar problem with carinformation (probably anty??)

I had all info except driver names. I was wondering who made a slow start, and was very slow in approach to T4 tight right, i went into the wall to avoid
How come you went up the escape road at T1 Eck?

My first proper drive in the Nissan and I had to spend some time practising making a setup for this. Didn't get a good lap in quali but had a good start to put me in 2nd behind Greg. Was quicker in some parts of track but no chance of passing until Greg made a small error and I managed to sneak past.

How come you went up the escape road at T1 Eck?

Everyone disappeared, approaching turn one. Had to stop, till I could see cars again. This is getting to be a right pain in the 'arris...

I should have kept the Volvo, had not realised that Eck had gone to it, could have had a proper tussle  Grin The Datsun is much faster here than the Volvo, normally I can't drive the Datsun and am faster in the Swedish tank  Huh

I only swapped cause everyone was in the Nissan, never driven the Volvo, or either Beemer, before. I don't think I should try again, I was even more poop than in the Nissan.

great race, just glad to finish tbh. I can`t believe out of all the places to make a mistake i made one on the 2nd to last corner and these cars are hard to get moving again. lost 3 places in one error Sad

well done for finishing.

i lost count of the amount of times i hit walls

I love The Mountain. Always gives a good race.
There seemed to be some poor internet weather tonight
Ant was warping in practice, but then was ok later. GT was disappearing and reappearing
in practice. Must be a dodgy router somewhere in the smoke.
