Hi moved Lola out of GTL, on track now get Porsche 917k.
Fresh install of GTL may be required because something screwy is going on.

Hi Tony ... did as you said, copied my clean basic steam GTL, installed the Boss mustang and it works. Thank You

Trying things this works as well, in my used install of GTL  created new player and found the Boss mustang works, only problem you lose your game settings and car setups.

Hi Tony, downloaded this track and installed it a couple of times but can't see it in the list of available tracks. Is it me or is it under a different name? Huh
I just checked the installer and it may be putting an unwanted "GTL" after the specified destination. Check your install for a rogue GTL folder then you will find a folder called Raleigh which you can cut and paste to the correct location e.g. in Locations folder. You can then delete the unwanted GTL folder.

Thanks Tony, rogue GTL folder found and carried out all the steps necessary to put files in correct place and deleted subsequent rubbish.  All working OK but, even at my pedestrian pace, after a few laps both front tyres alternate Red/Orange as you  switch from left to right turns  Roll Eyes Huh - had a fiddle but looks I'll have to live with it unless someone can let me have a setup that's kinder to the front tyres!  I Am Not Worthy  rockon

Not if you copy your Roguk.plr file from one install to the other. Found under UserData.  Wink

I had similar trouble twice yep. Not sure quite what fixed it, but I ended up doing a steam reinstall
I then had to create new drivers, and (I think) add the altbiere IPLObby file.

SO, is this another demolition derby? I hated that, wasn't racing, was just silliness for me.
And this is one of my rare at home weeks  Sad

Quite insane event, but entertaining in a totally different way  Cheesy

Only had one major collision in the center: Had timed my approach to perfection, so I would just pass behind a car coming from the left.  What I hadn't factored in, was a car to my right and slightly ahead.  It collided with the car from left, stopping it dead in its tracks - right in front of me...  Shocked

Totally impossible to keep track of my position in the mayhem.  Did find it rather unsporting, when a driver I had just made a clean, no contact pass on, summarily just rammed me off track to retake the position.  Guess some considered this more of a demolition derby than others..  Undecided

Anyway, if Lawrence was following the proceedings from a fluffy pink cloud, I'm sure he had a laugh..  Smiley

Cheers,
Erling

Agree! Fun event and not nearly as much of a demolition derby as I thought it would be.  I played the cautious route as much as possible and made it to the end.  I had participated in a like event before in Minis and it was total carnage if I remember right.  Thanks Tony, great idea.........

Agree, more fun than expected, 2nd gear acceleration great when you put pedal to the metal!  My race terminated by being kicked back to PC home screen with message GTL stopped functioning! Huh Roll Eyes
