Does this mean that the Daytona is eligible?

I'm hoping to be there for this one (1st proper race with my new DFP  Grin) - all depends on whether my mum needs me as a taxi driver....

Well, I don't want to race if I qualify with a time 10 sec slower than the leader.  Sad

P.S. So I quit!  Grin

Darn. Had a good qually session and found myself 4th on the grid. With Ruskus leaving on the grid somehow Paul968 and myself were running first and second for a few laps. Got a nice lead to third and was only loosing 0.2 secs a lap to first when my graphics card locked up about 10 laps in. By the time I "came to" I was in about 9th. Car felt cool though and I carried on for a bit before another lock up. Arse- I think I need to wang a hole in the side of my case and get a fan on there  Roll Eyes

That was good fun in the end. Qualified 5th in the Corvette with a 1:53.2, which I think is a pretty decent time for the car. My early race pace was slow though, I wasn't quite up to the job of sliding the Corvette around and keeping an eye on the traffic, and backed up the pack quite a bit. Had some great racing with Vekiq, Edamspeed, Tom Cooper & Shark. I defended for several laps, with lots of position swapping, but you all got past me with some clean moves. No contact at all, very good racing. I was able to find a bit more speed with some clear track around me. Finished in 2nd as several cars ahead retired or went off, nice formation finish with EdamSpeed at the end.  Cool
