I think there may have been a Steam RRE dedi server update today.  I see one on the RC dedi server (42mb update).

If you load up steam on your dedi, and look at 'Library' > 'tools' > RaceRoom Dedicated Server, it should say if an update is needed.

Good Luck.

A bit of a hectic first lap again last night but after it settled down into a decent race. First half of race was making back lost positions and chasing after Eck in his stang. I think he let me past on the S/F straight for 2nd but then I was being chased down by Jan who caught and passed me easily in the end. Decent turnout again.

It was a pretty good race fir me afterall... Second position in the qual and good start... In the first shikane U was second and littlebit too fast in the shikane so game give me time penalty... I was suprised that becayse U dont know about time penalties but it eas good rules... So time penalty for me in the firs shikane and somebody hit my back hard and I spinned out... So then I was last position in the race but I know that I was able to go good laps and go fast... Then suddendly I was fourth bahind the Tudor and Eck... And the situation change front of me and Tudor take second place... There was plenty of time and I overtake Eck and then Tudor and sevond place... Good race... And Whitout that spin in first lap I think that I never be change to go so fast that A.Rofail... Such a Alien... But in the Quoa, our gap is very little... 0,04s..
Thatk everybody at the good race and I have to adk my frend that if He got time to do a little video for that race...

Sounds like I missed a good one  Sad
This cut track penalty thing is annoying. Even though we are all fine upstanding drivers who
always keep within track limits  angel
I am in favour of some sort of penalty for regular track cutting. Slow down, is our preferred option as
it means the driver only loses a bit of time, and doesn't always lose places. The down side, as mentioned
previously is that if you are following someone who take a slow down, it is too easy to ram them up the
posterior  Shocked And this has happened a few times. I am thinking maybe we should do drive through instead?
stop and go would be overly harsh I think, but with drive through you keep moving and get off the track
out of other people's way, there will still be an occasion where you are slowing to go to the pits, and someone
rams you anyway. Roll Eyes but it seems a better way to me. Obviously if you take a drive through you need to make sure
that you have a pit speed limit button set.

Thats true phspok... Maybe its too hard that when You cut trck You get a drive through... But maybe if You cut like three times then its right to get drive through... I dfont now... Time penalty is annoying but stil its good thing also... When to race starts I dont knowed that there is that kind of system like time penalty when you cut... But that its ok!

The track seems to have quite forgiving limits tbh, watching people through the chicane, I seemed to easily loose 0.5 sec through it most laps.

I think a drive through might put people off?? as it then ruins their race.

I think a drive through would lose you only a little more time than a slow down. And is less likely to cause an accident.

I don't mind giving it a go. We've had quite a few incidents caused by slow downs and it's often the innocent drivers that lose out. I'll set tonight's race for drive through.
