Interesting tips Ed. I've had a bit of a play including with camber but haven't tried maxing it out yet. Will have to see what lap times I achieved yesterday and then try your suggestion

I guessed as much, just wanted to make sure.
Server is up early as I've just updated it. Off to update my game PC now.

Started the update about 15mins ago so hopefully done now. Not bothering with the dlc as no proper race cars in it nor cars I'm interested in. Ps cheers Pete for updating the server

Max camber front and rear, max toe in rear (front default) and use psi helper.
Stupid question time, I assume are you saying sliders all the way to the left? i.e. max negative rather than +?

Max negative camber I'd think Pete, though rear toe I assume meant max positive.

I found the recommendations from Ed transformed the car and made it very race able, so thanks for that help How do you find out these useful tips? I thought max neg camber would make it even more edgy but it was much more planted, and why do Kunos give the car a crap setup as default?! Shame about the numbers but I actually enjoyed driving this iconic car around an iconic track was able to get in the mid 36's during the race, though still made the odd error and cut Mr Palmers grass for him on occasion Finished a distant 4th. Had no match for the quick top 3 and the guys behind seemed a long way back this week.

I also enjoyed the combo.. But some peope just refuse to try stuff out and its a shame
You should get the dlc.. For what it costs £3.99 you get some quite good cars.. The supra tuned is a decent race car.. And the mx5 cup car is a hoot... Apart from its amazing brakes.. But i think that will be sorted soon.

I tried, I failed I think these sort of cars just magnify the lack of talent I have. I did eventually get within the old 107% benchmark but for every lap I did that I fell off on 3 or 4 others. I was a danger out there last night and quit before I destroyed everyone's race as they tried to lap me.

Had a good time, dispite the lack of any practice with this combo. The mentioned setup tips where very helpfull. Altough i might went wrong on the rear toe as i was in too much of a hurry to click in the laps. In the race i had one spin when i just touched the grass. I figured i could have a battle with Bob and Peter, but we hardly saw each other sadly. Nice to get a return race in the F40 though. The learning curve is a little less high next time out and i can bond a bit better with this car. Started my practice in the Ruf right after the race (too bad that combo wasn;t online available). Turns out to be a rather nice driving Porsche , you can even slide it around a bit, even the less talented can manage. Might turn out to give a tighter field next week...
