Fun stuff and I enjoyed the ride in the Dino.  I planned two stops...I mean, dong the patch thingie was kinda what it was all about, right?...but was aghast when each took...ready for this?...67 seconds.  Huh  WTF!?!?  The refuel load was all of 6usg(apx 24 litres).  I was down to about 12psi on the fuel pressure guage when I pulled into the pits.  I wonder if this had a affect?  Jani...as I recall...pitted while I was receiving service and he was away in all of 9s.  Must mention this to Lee.

Good luck to everyone still running.

Sorry for the contact, Ronnie. I somewhat expected you move to the outside... Sad

No problem Jani. Grats on the podium!

Yep that was me. I thought you had some real life problem - hence your long pitstop.

Apart from the contact with Ronnie (and my two spins, erhm...) I had a great race. By not having Pribluda it was a bit risky but I survived with 29laps fuel load and one perfect stop. Thanks all for the race. Grats Piero!

...each took...ready for this?...67 seconds...

That's quite wrong. Please investigate and get back to us.

I was almost competitive on outright speed, more time to futz with gearing would have really helped, but occasional huge instability under braking (dunno why, will be looking into it...) led to more than a few bad moments. Sorry if I got in anyone's way (super narrow track in places, tough to extricate oneself without blocking anyone else). Fun stuff, anyways. Patch worked great (done and gone in the 5s minimum I think, had 28 laps worth at start).

Doni,
No idea why your pit-stop was so long. Perhaps your Italian mechanics were too busy chatting up the local girls.
The pit stop patch suggests a refuel rate of 1.5 gallons per sec. I think F2 cars should manage half distance on 8 gallons - so you should be replenished in about 5 seconds.
I never got round to my fuel stop but it seemed to work OK when I tested at Enna.

My engine was sputtering both times I pitted at Enna. This would be something to check to see if it regularly occurs with the F2 mod. The 67 F1s were fine for me under the same condition.

Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same
