In case you missed it, Chris R's nice setup for the McLaren is here:-

http://www.mediafire.com/download/0xru0tr0b1c48d6/%28AC1.5.9%29_Barcelona_Moto_-_1%2746.700.ini

Just tweak gear ratios and tyre pressures to suit Spa and its quite quick out of the box. May need to lose some rear wing too but see how it feels to you. Felt nice and stable to me.  Smiley

Got two weeks until this remember. I'm off on my hols now, adios!  Cool

Been away for 8 great days in sunny Canada  Cool, now come back to this hotbed of forum activity  Tongue

Anybody got a laptime to chase/aim for?

Only 3 days until race day, got racing withdrawal symptoms  Smiley

Fingers crossed you get it sorted for Wedsnesday Ed  Smiley

Right some times for the mortal drivers like me to aim for:- I did 2:27's on meds & 30L and 2:29's on hards & 30L. Cars definitely quicker/grippier on meds but not sure if they will last the race  Undecided if you get lairy in a corner it's easy to light up a tyre and overheat it. Hards are safer option.
Car handles well using Chris' setup but I lowered rear wing to 9, tweaked the pressures and also found 1 more click front bump allowed me to get on the loud pedal sooner at corner exits.

I'm a good few secs off the fastest AI pace though, so def more time to find with more laps (and no jet-lag!)

If you out brake yourself at the end of the kemmel there's a handy escape lane to use that re emerges at Les Combes further round so no turning immediately back onto the track if you get it wrong in the race.

Haven't ran this combo yet. Planning on doing some practice tonight. Will see if there is a server running this combo, as it is more fun online.

Has there been a game update I've missed? I re-upload everything sometime today anyway.

I'm going to go for meds in the race I think  Undecided I can't make any headway on hards albeit sneaking into the 28's on them, but with meds I'm 27's every lap. Problem is they go to pale yellow wear by mid race distance so may be in poor shape by lap 12. You need to be smooth on meds.

I edited race distance to 12 laps and moved time clock forward by half hour otherwise you get some duff shadow flicker in qually.

Could not get below the 2.30s mark on the hards, so i guess i am condemned to running meds anyway hahaha. Probably should try Chris's setup instead of my own pityfull setup attempt.
Still my practice run was very enjoyable with this car. Fits the track nicely!
