The BMW is an easier driver and did go slighty quicker in it. the Ruf is definatly more like the 997rsr in GTR2 we had. Certainly a bit more lively, but hope to improve it a bit before the race. Only did a 2:04 in it though, i seem to think GT was doing 2:01s from the last look on the leaderboard!

Just to remind everyone, there are no car restrictions for this series (or the Silhouette series) and your best 4 scores from 5 events count towards championships.

Yep, track conditions are different in leaderboard, practice, quali and race.

I found the power coast trasition to severe, there arnt too many haipin style corners but plenty of tightening corners where you have to do stuff mid corner.

That was a blast  Smiley No idea how things were going on behind me as I didn't have time to look but I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

No problem with that Ant, you were well alongside going into there so I saw that as a racing incident and no need to wait. Anyway, my previous overtake was a bit of a late lunge....I was holding my breath for that one as I knew it was probably the only chance I'd have. fantastic racing  Cool

Was certainly eventful but still good fun! Sorry about the first corner Dieter. But was going to be a good run back up and then you stopped after the last corner?

Good fun with TT and Spanner, but also some weird stuff going on - my position in the race seemed to keep changing, and I don't think any of my race laptimes were recorded? Spanner got a little sideways at T1 and we made contact - sorry about that, hope I wasn't lagging or anything there? I waited, but then all cars around me started to flicker and disappear.. Thought it safer to quit.

Yeah, sorry about that - see my comments above, I was worried I was lagging and causing trouble.. Congrats podium.

Those results look a bit ackered.

The Ruf seems to want to be a GT3 car and the Cadillac also appears to have an identity crisis. I sent Dave the details and he confirmed as done but something seems to have gone amiss  Huh

For those who have an interest in rubber  Wink there are a few tyre brands used with these cars but Michelin seem to be the most prevalent.
