Moderator's Report

SUMMARY
The usual slip streaming antics at Spa provided Sam Blood the opportunity to get the better of Piero and claim the win with Cookie securing third place on the podium.

Lap 1 - Les Combes - Bastian Grupp and Dean Logan

Bastian is on the normal racing line on the entry to Les Combes with Dean following a couple of car lengths back. As Bastian brakes, Dean appears to make a half hearted attempt to take the inside line but he drifts wide into Bastian. Bastian retires from the race but Dean can continue.

Bastian did nothing wrong.

Dean must have lost concentration or been distracted? There doesn\'t appear to be any reason why such an experienced and capable driver should make such an elementary mistake. The responsibility for the incident must lie with Dean.

Papyrus Spa! I did my first ever GPL drive here Smiley Since the release of Spa67 I have not driven on this version, so last night event was somewhat nostalgic. The Le Mans 24h race also gave a big boost to me – though it did not shine through my lap times  Smiley

Started pretty down on the grid, and lost one more position till Eau Rouge, but cautiousness paid back as I was out of any trouble later. This resulted a clean P4. I just had to be sure Marco wouldn't catch up to a last lap overtake. It meant I had to drove my heart off but I succeeded Smiley

Congrats to the winner and podium! Thanks all for the race!

Sorry to Bastian for Les Combes lap 1, you slowed sooner and a lot more than I expected or was necessarySad

I didn't feel that slow. Maybe I took the advice to be more careful in the first corners, because of the other cars in front of me.
You seemed to slide very much in the rpy until you hit me sidewards . But I don't mind. its racing. I'm having mistakes too, killing others around me.

I don't know who but on the begin of lap 2 someone overtook me at l'Eau Rouge  Shocked Shocked
Probably someone who ignore what happened to the poor Bellof...

I had to turn the steering wheel to avoid the crash and hit the wall, hopefully without any trouble.

Impossible for me to follow Sam, I would have definitely broken the engine, and unlike Monaco this time I was overloaded with fuel Shocked
