Managed to put together a good lap for quali which landed me pole but was never really on it during the race. Got off to a good start but was soon being chased down and was reeled in by Eck. I held off for a dozen or so laps but he was obviously quicker and was too much of a gent to dive in so decided to let him go, hoping I might be able to hang on and maybe profit from a mistake later on angel  devil

What I hadn't noticed was Spanner rapidly closing the gap to me. I only just managed to hold on to second place as we crossed the line.......another lap and I'd have likely finished third.

Ended up with two different setups as the BMW had just too much understeer making it difficult to carry the speed into the corners. Think i started the race with the other one from a qualied in. Surprised to be dicing it with GT and Eck as they tend to be alot quicker than i am. Tried to hassle GT as much as i could in the early laps but started drifiting back and Eck was trying to get past but i ended up drifting too wide in the first corner and was heading to the inside wall a couple of times.

Eck and GT were slowly disappearing up front so managed to get into a rythym and saw GT had dropped a bit so mamanged to focus and close him down by around 0.5sec a lap. Sadly only managed to actually got on the back of him in the last corner so was a drag race to the line!

I had thought maybe you had picked up damage from Ecks pass or the tyres had gone off as i was surprised to see you going a bit slower than the beginning.

Oh thanks, it was my fault, again.. lol. I actually only got the position, as Tudor seemed to, let me by. I got to him but had no real opening, to try anything. My consistency wasn't the best, so I'd get there, then drop off, then repeat. With little chance to do anything, I was really surprised to be in first. At first, I was just indecisive. My eventual decision was to try a quick lap, see what occured.

I must've lucked into something, just as with the NSU race at Mid Ohio...

Grats all, was an amazing race as ever.
