Not really a fan of this track config, with that silly chicane when rejoining the main track and as i normally drive straight on mising the diversion off after the first corner!

Agree, I struggle to find the turn in and braking points for that corner.
Like these cars though.

And I hate the hairpin on the GP track as I can never spot my entry or exit. I find that braking hard into the crossover isn't the quickest way anyway as it upsets the car too much. angel

I had a few laps trial race round here and it was good fun but as ever you'll need to watch out for slow downs for excessive use of those runoff areas  devil

That was a strange one  Huh Before I went to grid crew chief told me that John had pitted but then when I went to grid he was on my left. However by the time the lights appeared he was not there and I never saw him all race. It seemed like you were in the pits because the HUD kept showing you going up and down the order every lap. Very strange.

that was a bit of a disaster! did realize that i was invisible so on the warm up lap I got turned around in turn 2 and then hit by the entire field which damaged my car, I manged to get back to the front and carried on still not aware of my invisibility. car wasnt well and i couldn't get the lap times so Tudor caught me up or so i thought! we had a good battle on my screen and i was taken out by a back marker all the time not aware!
oh well not sure the result will be recorded but i did come 3rd on my game.

bloody game still a bit buggy but i do love it  Undecided

John never appeared on my grid at all. Did thought it was strange the server thought he was still racing as his name drifted around the live standings. It was only after finishing and watching the 'slowdown lap' and saw the massage saying he had cut the track did I realise he was driving!

So I had done about 15mins practise before hand knowing how much I hate the short track so it was some surprise to get on the server and realise as I brake for turn 2, onto the short track, that the barriers are up. So I check the track config in game, 'national' bit annoyed so check the website....  Huh Must have forgotten about the national config being available. and clearly no one picked up my comments in the earlier post!

After practise it looked like I was going to be in no mans land behind GT, Eck etc and ahead of Matt, Apex, SWR but in qually was surprised to be third, which ended up second at the start. Was saying to Eck I don't think I was going to last too long aft our last race in these but surprised to harass GT as long as I did. Both of us making a few mistakes here and there with the gap staying around a second or so. Picked up a cut track which was rather severe and then SRW decided to get a bit too aggressive racing me, forcing me off when lapping him. Else I was hoping to try and close the gap more. Tyres had definitely gone off at the end with most going yellow and had been playing with the brake bias to help.

With so few places to overtake round here it was fun chasing GT but knew it was going to be tough actually overtaking!

not sure whether I saw John or not, he is in my replay, and shot off into an early lead at the start
possibly because GT didn't know he had already zoomed off  Huh

I had a couple of offs at the national turn in, didn't matter how many times I had been there
was still struggling to find the apex.

Note to admins: at some tracks, this being one, the LM2 doesn't recognise the different versions of tracks
I usually just change the track to a standard one, and the results will then go in
In this case I had to make it Hockenheim GP. Sometimes the correct version name is there in the list but it
reports it knows the track but is wrong layout? not sure on the words.
