Sonoma has produced some very good racing recently and the GT2s go well here. BMW is quick but can be tricky while the vette seems more stable and can keep up very well. I must give the Ruf a go as its traction could be useful here.

Jeez, how on earth did you do that time? Its all in the first few corners as well. You seem to brake so late into the second corner! and then barely into the next two! i'm 8 tenths down after the first sector :'(

Thought I'd put plenty of fuel in but I was way off and had to pit Embarrassed  Fortunately I have a splash/dash enabled in my pit settings for such occasions and it was just enough to get me over the line with 1 litre left  sweatdrop

Well done Eck, you deserved the win  Cool

Lucked into yet another, I'd have been stomped had Tudor fueled it right.

I was on the edge, keeping up. After a mishap (or two?), I thought I was out of it.

When catching again, I knew there had to be a reason. Then, he stopped for fuel.

If I were any kind of gentleman, I'd have slowed...  laugh

Grats Martin, getting that Caddy onto the podium...  Shocked

A race to forget for me! never really got to grips with the steep uphill braking in the first part of the lap. then miscalculated my fuel for the race, I went in the pits to get some more, realised i couldn't get the pitstop to happen because i have mapped the buttons to my G27 (but i am using my old Logitech momo while i modify my G27).

First- Introduction Hello all from a noob, just joined the forum.  I attempted my first race today with you gents, and though quite fun, was a disaster for me.  Was excited to find a group that runs the GT2 class when it seems GT3 has taken over RaceRoom.  So with hardly much practice and not planning for an endurance race, didn't even set fuel past default and ran out lap 16.  Didn't help much the GF walked in started asking me questions about dinner and things durring first few laps of race, ha! Just needed better planning overall next time. Seems like a really good group of drivers in here, and looking forward to some proper events in the future.  Thanks again for letting me join.    C.Raggio

Welcome Carl  Cool Always good to see new faces on the grid and a shame that your first race with us ended so prematurely. It was better than my first effort here; a GTR2 race at Imola that I failed to start because I couldn't find the go to race button after I'd been practising all week  Roll Eyes

We are currently running a masters series on Sundays in which the car groups alternate between GT2, GT3 and Silhouettes which will see us through until the end of the year. We've been racing modern GTs and sports cars on Sundays for many years and that will hopefully continue if it is well supported. We also have some good fun on Thursdays with some of the older cars if you fancy some of that.
