Raceroom Masters Series Round 15

Practice: 20:00 GMT (30 mins)
Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race: 20:45 ~ 40 Mins

Cars allowed Silhouette
Track: Spa GP
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon
Weather: Dry
Start: Manual Rolling (see notes)
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

For those racing this evening, in the last update the devs tightened up the cut detections for several tracks including Spa.

I haven't tested them all but I did notice at Pouhon and Blanchimont (and presumably Stavelot) that the track limits are much tighter than before and you'll get a warning/slow down if you run out too wide. Don't say I didn't tell you  Smiley

Well that's it for our Sunday races for 2016. Thanks to all who raced and hope you had fun.

2017 season starts on 8th January with a couple of fun/test events featuring DTM (get those DRS buttons set  Wink) and Formula Junior with 2 race formats and reverse grids......that'll be fun  Smiley I'll post up all the events in the next few days.

Enjoy the holidays and hope to see you in the new year.
