I might go for the Ferrari if too many people in the BMW and Vette.

I had a quick go in the Ferrari earlier and thought it pretty tasty  Cool a definite improvement over the early version which I found almost undriveable under braking. It felt like it cornered quicker than a gt3 though braking distances are longer and need to be more modulated with aggressive downshifts to shrug off speed, so you have to alter your driving style a bit.
Will try the vette too tomorrow.

Can't stand the 458, but for the test race I will stick with it  Embarrassed.

The server has 32 times on it, so it is attracting quite the attention.

That's interesting! I have put a post over on Kunos. They removed my race thread saying a site like ours cannot have more than one race thread  Roll Eyes so I had to add it to the end of my Blancpain thread - silly rule. I explained the Blancpain was finished!
(Edit sorted now as they renamed the thread for me to a general league notice thread for us)  Smiley

I have only tried the default 458 setup but it felt good. Will try a custom one too.

An un-passworded server running standard cars will always attract attention.

I certainly don't mind other drivers using it as it gives us more laptimes to compare against  Smiley
I would also ask that if any of our regulars are on the server with these random drivers then strike up a chat or mention the race that is to happen on it soon. Some may bite and join in the race   Smiley

So the race will be passworded? If so can it be put into LM2 so we can see it at the top of the thread?

Ok, I'm going to take the Ferrari tonight. It's slower for me than the BMW but I just fancy driving for the Prancing Horse tonight Smiley

If I am able to join, there probably won't be any time to qually, so I'll start at the back most likely.

I have a similar predicament to Linus as I am slightly quicker in the vette than the Fezza. I haven't really driven either in a proper race so will choose one tonight. I haven't got a proper setup for either so just used a mildly tweaked default so far, just not had time.

Re LM2, don't know why but there was a double entry in there both identical but as soon as I removed one, the correct race thread info showed up.

Jeff, like it will take you long to make your way to the front  laugh

Hi guys, had a quick go with Vette. Feels pretty nice and racy and better too on this tyre version as to what i remember.
However as my pc is already struggeling with 10+ cars combined with the heat over here i think i will give this one a miss. I'll spend my time sourcing for a replacement desktop i quess  angel

Dont worry, its too warm over here at the moment! Though really you typically only talking of a couple of degrees warmer than normal so hopefully your PC isnt that on edge!

I'll be going with BMW, even though I haven't had any real practise with it what with all the heat ( stupid late summer  Cool )

But do we need to book now or is it just the same as usual?

EDIT; Just booked the old fashioned way too be sure  Grin
