I'm loving this track also and the Fezza seems to love the fast flowing corners.

The author of this track has done a bit of a historical mix but using the latest layout but included some of the old features like the bridge and the gantry on the start finish line. It's such a good Verizon that I wish he would make it modern.

I've got a real track day here on the 31st so this race will be a good warm up Smiley

Nice Michael, don't know if you have driven there before but the descent into craners is like a ballsy roller coaster ride in your own car, especially in an old 911  Shocked you pick up so much momentum. Great track  Cool

I drove there for the first time this time last year and loved the track. It was the wettest track day I have done which was good for me as I prefer wet track days but there were a few red flags due to it being too wet at times. I know what you mean about the decent into Craner curves, on the sighting laps it was like oh wow, this is crazy lol So looking forward to the 31st.

LOL to all of you!

On softs and race fuel I was about 0.5 seconds behind that. Super softs last 3 laps (just) before overheating. So you get one out lap one proper lap and maybe another if you've cocked up the first lap and slow down enough to get the tyres back in the green.

I'll have probably lost all rhythm tonight when I turn up with 5 mins of qually left!

Pah! Why is it always the tracks I most look forward too often end up being my worst?  Roll Eyes I had high hopes for tonight but got nowhere  Sad

A manic day and tiredness didn't set me up too well and took me most of qually to get up to speed where I briefly held 4th until the dying seconds.

Race start was the usual scenario where I get pounced on by a couple of cars from behind. I got to t1 on the inside with a vette alongside but I'm sorry to say that when I tried to turn in, the car just understeered across the full width of track onto the left side gravel where I joined at least 3 other cars who I assumed did the same  Embarrassed Shocked. Not sure if I or anyone else had contact?
So now I'm near the back but hopeful of moving up the grid, but I think I only got a sweet window of about 4 laps where I could set low 1:30/high 1:29's before I started to drop time like crazy  Huh It was getting ridiculous seeing my times being 1-1.5 secs a lap slower and I got mugged 3 times at that horrible hairpin as the car had awful front end low-speed understeer on the worn mediums  Angry. Wish I'd taken a punt on softs now.
Must say I had a few good chases and a brilliant battle with Linus' f458 for the last few laps, it was a great fun end to a dismal race for me, proper racing  Cool

Congrats to Maikel on a fine win and well done to Simon and Nsfw on the podium  Cool
