Moderator's Report

SUMMARY

Evil Clive Gardner, starting from P4, wins the race also setting the fastest lap of the race. Robert Fleurke -who started fom Pole and led most laps- finishes second, and Axel Cookie rounds out the podium after an unlucky contact with Clive. Despite this, Axel was the most consistent driver.

One incident has been reported.

Server replay time: 0h33m32s

Clive reports: I got a run on Axel out of Paddock Hill bend and was on the inside approaching Druids. It seems that there was contact between my car and Axel at the apex and his car was knocked off. My replay shows a warp contact, with the cars never closer than 1 metre, but obviously GPL thought differently.

Clive his attempt to overtake was legit, and he held the inside. But Clive lost the rear slightly, and together with lag and the collison box Axel got the bad end of the stick and goes off with minor damage. Axel did absolutely nothing wrong and gave enough room on the inside. Clive can continue while leading, and Axel can continue and finishes 3rd eventually.

I might have called it a Marginal Side by Side contact without the lag/collison box that obviously plays a part here. Therefore I have to judge it a Racing Incident.

Season 30 Professionals Trophy – Round 1 – Brands Hatch

The re-run of the first round of the season will take place at Brand Hatch 1967. Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit near Swanley in Kent, England. If nobody is against it, I'd like to allow/invite Bastian, Philippe and Dave R. in this race, also since they are bound for Pros next year or have run Pro before. PW will be given in chatroom. Wink

Thanks for your invite Robert.  I'm not sure to enter on the chat room At the beginning.  Is it possible to send me the pass by mail  ? I think I enter on the track 15 mn before the start.  Thanks
