I was almost spoilt for choice in picking a tasty car for next week, but this one stood out to me so far as one that was quick but manageable and seemed to suit this track nicely where it can use its power on the long straight and its awesome aero in the twisties. Great cockpit view too I had intended to run the Cobras at Old Silverstone which I think will be a lot of fun, but best to take advantage of all the new enthusiasm for the latest dlc. Hope you like it

Practice server up although I think I must have the wrong Porsche GT1 as the one I've just been driving is far from manageable Where's all this aero you speak of, through the final chicane the thing just is so loose it's almost impossible to stop it spinning when you make the 2nd change of direction. It's also understeer city until suddenly you're dead as the oversteer kicks in. Far too difficult for my feeble ability and reaction times Oh and there's something not right with the views. My default view is a top the roof rather than in the cockpit. In this view the various apps I run are all nicely placed around the screen. If I go in to the cockpit all those apps disappear, they're way up above me where you can't really see them and stand no chance of reading anything they display. If I change to a chase view all the apps sit above the car - daft.

Well that's one satisfied customer straight away I don't get it, I used it straight out the box and had no problem blatting it around for a few laps Hence stating it was manageable/drivable. (Surprisingly for a thoroughbred race car). Will wait for more feedback

Drove the car for about an hour at Monza yesterday and just turned some laps at Mugello, no major problems with the car for me, neither any problems with the cockpit view nor any driveability issues. I'm using the default setup and just tweaked the gear ratio a bit, had no problems at all at the last Chicane @Mugello So my first impressions are very similar to Mark's opinion.

I love it, Dont treat it like a modern car, almost feels like modern semi-slicks on it. You cant attack the corners too hard but 'feels' like a typical porsche with the handling. Without the speed readout on the wheel its hard to gauge how quick it is, but isnt it twin-turbo? Always found the back end catchable on the power.
Not to mention your currently quicker than me on the server, and i did have the default setup but dropped the rear ARB having read your comments prior to jumping on.

No problems with the cockpit view on here aswell. I like the car/track ( mugello being my testtrack ). The car kinda feels like the GT2's, less grip in the corners but even without TC its quite stable on the power at corner exit. Only downside I have found so far is that even the medium tyres were only lasting 7 laps before they dropped below 98%.

Same here, the medium tires went into yellow very fast. Will have a look at the hard tires later today.

So this is my default view - on the roof where as normally it's in the cockpit I can see the AC menu fairly easily If I change to chase view I get As you can see the AC menus are above the car, and in cockpit if I look up and to the left I get Not the best place to be looking while driving

Have you tried it without the OR???
I imagine the updates have change the settings needed to sort the view out. Your'll have to join the rest of us looking at flat monitors!

[–]uberphat 5 punten 2 dagen geleden Didn't fix the VR view in the 911 GT1. [–]WarthogOsl 5 punten 1 dag geleden Quick workaround I found in the AC forums: Go into the the driver position app, click reset (which should put you into the driver seat), then click save. Exit, the session, then start a new one. When you come back to that car, both the driving position and the HUD should be positioned correctly. Found this by accident when I was checking the 10.2 changelog
