I have one, Tony! Drive round very carefully in 2nd gear, giving hand signals where necessary, stopping for tea half way, hoping all the hotshots out-drive themselves and try to demolish the concrete walls, and then finish on the podium, only having completed half the total number of laps. So, not much different from my usual one then! Bound to work one day! Brilliant! What could possibly go wrong?

Please note that all race times, until further notice, are set to British Summer Time (BST).

Very challenging track for this series for sure. Maybe an Alfa GTA would be great around here, but The Boss just feels like you're wearing a straitjacket. Apart from the numerous opportunities for small disasters, there appears to be one major one: The pit exit is directly into the fastest line through the start/finish curve, which is one of the fastest places on track. Have only been alone on the track, but it looks like cars about to exit will be completely hidden by the wall - maybe those of you who have raced here can confirm or deny this ? Anyone exiting the pits during the race; please keep a wary eye on the flashing blue lights Cheers, Erling

Helps a bit if you have the Driver Labels on, Erling, but still a bit hairy.

Drivers should use a "Pit out" message when in sight of race track

Thanks Huggy; was planning on using them, at least when passing the pits, but on tight tracks like this, there's often a lot of 'overlap', from drivers in different parts of the track, so they can be misleading at times. Cheers, Erling

I usually use the 'look behind' feature together with driver labels when exiting the pits.

Did a shakedown lap or two last night after the GPL race just to be sure that I had correct track etc, and I also noticed the kamikazi pit exit and wondered...... uuuuummmm? I know about driver labels ( tab key) , but where do I find the "pit out" message and how do I activate it. Although TBH I think that message might be a bit too late, once you have committed that Mustang to take the corner flat out. Certainly with my setups, lifting off the gas mid corner will cause some interesting developments and a large scattering of body parts quite close to a large dent in the outer wall!!! Also puzzled by the "look behind" reference? isn't that what mirrors are for?

IIRC, the pit in/out messages are predefined in the multiplayer setup options - you can assign them to a key of your choosing, including those on your wheel, if you have any to spare. 'Look behind' instead of mirrors, are to see the driver tags, signaling an approaching car. They're not shown in the mirrors. Cheers, Erling

Following on from Erling's post; the look behind view is also key operated. Unfortunately I do not know what the default key for this is as it's a feature I never use.

Isn't there a line on the track after the pit exit? If there is then drivers on a lap should perhaps not encroach beyond this line. Likewise drivers exiting the pits should stay to the right of this line until it is safe to join the track proper.

"Look Behind" might be the "B" key (default setting)

That sounds eminently sensible Tony. Except that when you are up to your a** wrestling with a wild mustang, it is sometimes difficult to resist encroaching just ever so slightly on to that nice inner lane Thanks for the heads up about various keys etc, will have to investigate that pre race this evening.

Had to avoid a slowing car then missed my braking zone. Saw I was going to wipe out the first 4 or 5 front runners so hit the ESC button as quick as I could. Hope it was quick enough guys.
