Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (20 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: 2x
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I'm going to try to make this one. Just wondering if anyone has any lap times to share so I can see how far off the pace I am.

I'm taking the Porsche and currently have a best time of 2:18.55 but most laps are in the low 2:19's.

Tyre wear seems manageable over race distance but perhaps I'm just not trying hard enough.

I am seeing some cut warnings even when following the racing groove. I remember we turned cuts off for the MvS series last year as there is little opportunity to make any time up given the armco and bales surrounding the track.

The Alpine seems tricky relating to my skills, but less tricky than the 904 - I hope (not tested). My pb so far around 2:21, if I remember right. CU tonight.

The 250 is offering a smoother ride for me here and is also a few seconds quicker than the 904, but I'm still a bagfull of seconds off the times mentioned so far.

Well there we go, another waste of time on my part!  Last race (BSCC) I couldn't get on to the grid, this time, did one and a bit reasonable racey laps, and everyone else disappears - lost connection. This after rebooting the router earlier when Erling told me the lag was bad, and all seemed fine after that. Grrr!    cursing

In my opinion one of the most challenging tracks.

Found out just before the start that there was still an option left for a longer gear ratio which I chose without having tested it.
Gave me about 2 seconds  Cheesy . But there was only one lap without a fault for me. Nice changing of places with Tony  Smiley
Was on my way to a sub 2:18 twice but then crashed each time.  Tongue

In the end: one fault too much.  Roll Eyes

But fun!

CU next week.

Thank goodness you did. I was bracing for a heavy hit then you vanished, phew!
