Well the first few laps were fun, actually running in the top three for a change. Sorry if I held up the Mini brigade in the corners by slowing up excessively, but I'm afraid I'd have gone off sooner than I did, any other way!   

No problem Huggy, it wasn't meant as a criticism, just the Mini was quicker mid corner than the Escort, it was up to us find a way past.

Well that race flew by. After a misshap at Cascades on the first lap I had to catch up with the main group of racers. Chased Bob's Escort for many, many laps, me quicker in the turn's, Bob faster on the straight's. Eventually caught him after Shell Oils  Corner when he had to avoid a stranded Roguk. Followed Bob closely for another lap or two but approaching Island Bend Bob went a bit wobbly and his braking and path caught me out and I gave him a tap. This span him around whilst I had a short detour across the grass. As went off at a slower pace to allow Bob to retake his place we were both passed by Roguk. After that Bob sped away after Roguk and I was left on my own but with Matt and Kurt getting ever closer. They finally caught me and the remainder of the race was an excellent tussle between the Mini and the two Imps. I finally cods it up at Lodge allowing Matt and Kurt to get away.
Great race, great looking grid and I predict some very tense races for the remainder of this series.
