Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (20 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: Avoid going off at Knickerbrook. There is a hole in the surface that you may fall into. Also avoid the RH side of the track by the first tree on the RH side after the pit lane exit. There is an invisible obstacle there.

IMPORTANT

Once qualification has started drivers may not leave to change class/make/car. They may leave to change skins.

Will miss this one unfortunately. My job has packed me off to Germany for the week and I can't get my G27 in as hand luggage.

Will be back for Shanghai assuming the airline doesn't go bust.

Hi all,
I was used to race UkPng with many of you some time ago, but I see that now is dead? I had raced GTL online in the past before PnG came out and I would like to race again with you.
I have activated my DVD copy on Steam and installed on my Win10 Pro pc. I followed all suggest to create another installation out of Steam, I have put the DYN file to have all cars and I have registered my online Key on Multiplayer and I can login on the new lobby. I can see the UKGTL server, I have installed the track and all the cars needed for this race. I can join the practice server ok, but nonetheless I pick a different car I find myself always with the Mini 1300 yellow. And now it happens on single player too!
This started after I have installed all the new cars needed for this race.
If I delete the DIN file, I have only two cars in my garage and single player work right, but I can't test online on the server cause I haven't the right cars?
I'm a bit confused. What is wrong?  Huh
Thx in advance for help me.

Hi, your an old MARA guy I think?

Glad you can see the lobby, that's a big problem out of the way, so well done.

I'm struggling to find a reason why your downloaded cars have disappeared though?

Is your GTL set to PRO level, e.g. all aids off?

Please check you teams folders and see if you can identify that all the cars are downloaded to the correct place.

Your TC-65 folder should contain 1964-1968 Mini Cooper 970S & Ford Escort 1300GT

Your GTC-65 folder should contain Ford Escort TC & z28

Your GTC-TC-76 folder should contain 1969 Boss302 Mustang & Ford Capri & Ford Escort TC

Two other folder are Extra Cars containing Hillman Imp and ExtraCars (no space) containg 1968 Mini Cooper 1275S.

Have you paid for the cars you want to drive?

Hope something here helps, if not get back to me.

Anyone else think of anything?

I remember Fulvio  thumbup1 from P&G
P&G has been replaced at the moment by Race Room Experience on Thursdays
We would love to have you there if you are interested, the turnout is quite low these
days, and all are welcome.

Yes, I'm an old MARA guy  Smiley
Tony I've checked all the teams folders.
I think I've isolated the problem. Even if I earn all the cars, my credits are 0.
When I create a new profile I have 100.000.000 credits and I can drive all the cars in Single player, but when I join ukserver I am again in the Mini 1275 Yellow and when I return to menu I've lost all my credits and also in Single player I can pick every car but when I enter the race I have Always the same Mini 1275.
When I create a new profile I have 100.000.000 credits again till I join a server in multiplayer.
 Huh

I have had similar problems with GTL, I think I had to reinstall from Steam to get everything working
I dare not change anything on my GTL installations or something usually goes wrong  Shocked

@ Fpolicardi - Matt may be right anyway it's worth a try. Copy GTL out of Steam and run it independantly.

First thing is make sure that the new GTL location is not in the Windows or Program Files folders. If it is you may get problems. Try to move it to a drive root location e.g. (c:). Check that your set up as Administrator. Once copied right click on the GTL desktop icon and make sure that the Compatibility Mode box is un-ticked. You can tick the run as Administrator box

I have done all these things before to run GTL first time.
I have GTL installed on a old Win XP pc with the original DVD (Starforce) and all works good after I have installed the 60Oulton and a couple of cars needed to race or simply the brown original Capri.
In the old installation I had gained credits with a cheat command that I don't remember, infact I haven't TG2001.DYN file. So I think is the DYN files that doesn't work right when I join a server with the new pc.
Thx anyway

Thx Tony, that was the first thing I did before launch GTL first time.

After long testing I have found this:
I can install and race offline and online on your server all the cars needed for this race except Mini 1275, Escort 1300GT and American V8 '70.
If I install all, the MIni 1275 Yellow (the first one) became amandatory car, whatever car I select offline ad online.
If I deinstall the MIni 1275, Plymouth became a mandatory car.
If I deinstall the V8'70, Escort 1300GT became a mandatoty car.
If I deinstall th Escort 1300GT all the remaining cars works right.

I hope to have explained myself in my maccheronic English  Grin

Now I go to test the same on my old WinXP pc with the original GTL DVD install to see if do the same problem with the mentioned cars.
