Alternatively Bill could edit the values of the cars he needs to buy to £1 each

I'd like that feature for a real car dealership..  Grin

Cheers,

Just an additional note about modifying files.....

Make sure you save it as "all files" and not as "txt".

Not sure if you have file types turned on. If you save it as txt the extension will be ".car.txt" and GTL will not recognise it..

Thanks to all those who gave me advice I think between us I'm sorted. Grin
Firstly my old AV appeared to have severely messed up all my GTL Installations, under Gamedata it looked like a Clean Installation but when any one of a handful of installations were run just about all car I've ever down loaded were shown, many were ready to race but lots were not purchased.  When I tried to buy any I had insufficient credits so I sold a couple of cars we used in Geoffer's 63WSC Series allowing me to buy an Ace, AH100S and DBR 1 having opened the CAR file as Tony suggested and changed the cost to £1. So I hope to be OK now for the rest of Season 17.

For the future I did the equivalent of what Matt suggested, fortunately I'd copied a virtually clean copy of my initial Season 14 Installation on an old USB stick. Downloaded it onto my PC updated the Server Address and it's all ready for Season 18 and a new NoGrip Series!

IMPORTANT

I just spotted that the Jag D-type was not showing in the list of cars to use so I have now corrected this.

Yeah, sorry Matt. I need to add the Jag to the server garage. I only spotted the error this morning. I will fix tonight when I get home.
I presume you meant the Jag?

I’m not a fan of racing in the dark but as Tony says it’s still quite light online at this track at 20:00 hours. Anyway, Looking at the cars available I have contrived a cunning plan to help me see.

The track is great fun so I hope to make this race.  Smiley

I've got no engine sound on acceleration with the AH100S  Roll Eyes Huh misnoimis said his sound was OK, hope it won't affect my race.  Will use the D Type 1955.

I have updated the version of Cadwell on the server. Please check that the track you have contains a readme file with this as it's header "Cadwell Park 3.3 for GTL".

To start the ball rolling here are my current best times (don't laugh)

With full tanks my times are:

Aston 1:38
Healey 1:39
AC 1:39
Jag 1:40!

The Aston and Jag eat tyre rubber
