Hi everyone. I *think* I am back...just in time for the end of the season, but hey...

I have been gradually increasing the amount of time I play offline, and I might now be ok for race distances. All seems to working fine in Win10 (!!) too, been reading posts about a bad few months.

The only thing that I haven't been able to get working thus far is hosting (on my own PC, same one I'd use to drive on, only for practice sessions). I was always able to do this before, but since my enforced absence I moved house, so never got this working in the new place.

If it helps UK people I am on BT Infinity broadband, any guidance on their router appreciated. What I have tried is documented here http://srmz.net/index.php?showtopic=11488&hl=hosting#entry120293, on page 1 of the thread, but no one has replied to that yet (admittedly its only been a day and half, maybe i'm impatient...).

Any ideas?

Cheers

if you have to make rules for the ports to be forwarded in the router , advanced setting in the firewall section . the admain password can be found on the small bit of plastic which is housed in the back of the router . then use the "manage games and applications" button to take to the screen to make the rules for hosting gpl . once you have made the rule then apply it .

you can find "Home Network - Devices" page where you can see the computers/devices names and if you want/need refresh them using the said button on that page .

Don't know about the BT Infinity router [& I've not hosted - so no help there either!],  but here is a quick general guide [as well as some other BT HomeHub models / other makes too] if this is of any help?

Cheers,
Dave.

Thanks gents. John pointed me to the bit I was looking for, the refresh button. I shall try this over the weekend.
