For info. with a mixed mod series the non F1 races would probably not score points toward the championship. F1 cars would race approx. once a month.

If the 67F1 races only score points for the championship I would vote for the mixed series but if the 67F2 and/or Sports car races score points I would vote for the 67F1 only series. Any chance the "with a mixed mod series the non F1 races would probably not score points toward the championship" could be decided before we vote?

Hi, Billy...
Uhhh... Frankly, I'm not quite entirely sure in my own mind just what's being asked of us here in the way of a response. 10 Works races? OK. Other?

Doni,
Apologies if something this lost something in translation.
Option 1 is the format we have been using for several years. 67 F1 cars competing over 10 races. We keep the tokens system.
Option 2 has, say, 20 races. Event 1 is F1, Event 2 would be F2, Event 3 is F1, Event 4 is sports cars & repeat. Whether the series would be every week or every 2 weeks I don't know. We have to look at the overall voting & decide how to allocate across Sunday & Tuesday.

With it being the 50th anniversary, I'd limit a mixed mod series to the 3 mods from 1967; F1,F2, and GT.

The 67s use only original Papyrus tracks in S31! No Fantasies...

I was hoping to join in again with S31 but due to my worsening heart problems I don't think simm racing is what I should be doing right now , so very reluctantly i am making my exit from UKGPL .
Thanks to each and all for organising , moderating etc. and for all the help and fun you guys have given me on and off the track over the past seasons .

MERDE! So sorry to learn this, Bernie. You've been a good fella 'round here and you'll be missed. Do drop in from time to time if only to say 'hello'.
Take very good care of yourself, amigo.

Really sorry to hear that the great Bernie will be missing from the grids in future. You have been a true stalwart of UKGPL and were always here, even from my earliest days in GPL.
Your wit and wisdom on the forums and your gentlemanly behaviour on track will also be missed.
From one old simracer to another, take very good care of yourself mate and please stay in touch through the forum whenever you can.
P.S. there might be a West Country contingent heading oop North, to Mallory and Oulton Park et al in the coming months. Andy L is contemplating a world tour of UK tracks this year ( just because they are there!) and we could be descending upon your turf sometime...if you fancy a pie and pint?

I will always have very fond memories of season 20 when you pipped me to the Privateers title Bernie. Your victory forced me to improve and come back stronger so in a way you helped me to become a better driver. Thanks for all the times we raced. Look after yourself!

Keep it cool Bernie. Health is the most important thing to look after, I know what I am saying. Always remember the help you gave me at Banks Engineering. Take care!

Sorry to hear you are retiring Bernie. We have had some brilliant races over the years. You've always been a gentleman on and off the track. You will be missed. Look after yourself and keep in touch. I'm sure we will be running a few short fun races from time to time if you ever fancied another go at GPL.
