Short notice but something based on what seemed to be a theme on the other topic. No stipulation to make a pitstop but if you do you must obey the normal rules, not on the 1st or last laps.
Practice server will be up after my AC has updated and I've updated the server.

You all seemed to be happily chatting about a race you'd like to do so I've put one up in Mark's absence. It is short notice but hopefully a few will still be able to race. I stayed away from the Praga so Spanner hasn't got a good excuse to miss it

I'll probably take the spin dryer tonight - although that is a rather tasty flavour of pork you're serving

Hmm.. hadnt noticed the 50minutes. Something else to put me off tbh. The cars arnt fun to drive, gave up after barely a lap having tried the mazda and lotus.
With all the nice race cars released yesterday its hard to get excited. sorry.

Learn to love the Pork Team Prodigy - Just like Team Oldie only younger, faster, less grey hair and kinder to the environment!

Count me in, tried them all, leaning to the RX7 should be very close racing.

Tempted by the Lotus as its a Lotus but the Mazda is such a hoot and sounds lovely as it pops and bangs

I thought that last week but, then when around others in the race, I ended up thoroughly enjoying myself.

How about to set fuel consumption on 150% because RX7 can't do the race without 2 stops while other cars can.
With 1.5x fuel all cars have to pit but only once.

What a superb and very enjoyable race. Qualified something like 7th and made a great start, making up a place by passing ChrisR. Spent the first 10 laps holding station behind Bob and slowly pulling away from ChrisR. My pitstop was set for lap 15 so at lap 10 I started to push and closed in on Bob but then my tyres went away or Bob reacted and I dropped back again.
So I decided to go for the undercut and pitted on lap 14. This allowed me to jump Bob when he pitted. However, somehow, ChrisR got the undercut on us both. I then spent the next 12 laps trying to catch ChrisR and keep Bob back who was closing quickly. Managed to keep Bob behind just and finished a very happy 4th.
Really enjoyed that one do thanks guys.
